Well its a good thing its winter time, it should help keep it cool unless you got the heater on. lol If it overheats too much then ,ya, put a fan blowing in it.

The heat in the back is normal. As long as the sides do not get hot then it is not overheating. I got one and it runs like a charm. Most of the complaints are fake or retards that did not read the manuals. It states to keep the system and and the power brick in an open well ventilated area, and not to sit it on soft surfaces. Alot of people well decided to put their 360 in closed areas or sit them on their carpets which cause them to overheat. there was 400,000 units shipped to the United States. All of them sold, out of those I would say at the most 5,000 have had legitment defects. Also so you know I played my 360 for 16hrs straight and didn't have a problem if that just goes out to point how good it is.

All the launch games for the 360 suck... H2 STILL beats them even H1 does... PDZ and CoD are bad...

CaMoose have you played PDZ? If not then do not say they are bad. PDZ is the best online game for consoles I have ever played. It has the old school feel but the new generation look. There is little to no Auto-Aim. The only Auto-Aim I haved noticed in PDZ is if you are running beside someone and have already put your crosshair on their body. Otherwise you have to use the Aim button and actually Aim. I do not own and have no played CoD2 so I can not comment about it.

I got another xbox 360, don't ask why, anyways it just came today and I was testing it and it broke during loading... I'm not sure what happened anyways I'm going to send it back and I already notified the guy who sold it to me and I got a full refund.

Its just acting weird and laggyer then my first one. So I guess my 2nd one is just poorly made.

I said it in other topics and I will say it here. The 360 is going on recall. have fun with what Microsoft forgot to do...

Recall is only possible if there is a huge problem. So far it is isolated or just idiots. Is it cold outside Bruteal? If it is and then you plugged it in and started playing right away condensation could have formed and fried the circuits. That has been one of the few isolated problems that many people just don't think about. Anyway Joshgt2 out of my 6 friends and me that have 360's they all run smooth so hmm no recall their lol. All first cycles of consoles have issues but nothing compared to what was the PS2's problems. I would say so far the 360 has had the lowest about of problems reported. It is just blown out of popurtian due to false media and so on. I forgot to mention that Sony Fan Boys are making false claims too.

Also, I never recall Nintendo EVER having these defects that Sony and Microsoft seem to have.

It's not GOOD. It's normal. All systems SHOULD be fine after playing for hours.

As for PDzero, I heard it takes way too many shots to kill someone. I don't want to spend moments where I shoot him and he shoots me for minutes. It kind of destroys the importance of staying alive in the game. I've never played it of course, but I have heard people saying this.

Since when did Sony go in for a recall. I know Nintendo didn't but don't exclude Sony as well. This is the second time Microsoft had to recall their systems. First the Xbox (not 360) had cable problems and was starting fires and now the Xbox 360 is over heating. I love Microsoft, not as much as Sony, but they have to get their butt in hear if they want to have a chance at beating Sony. That is why I am all for Sony.

They did not recall the Xbox they recalled the power cable. The 360 does not overheat as often as you say it does. Also that person never said that Nintendo had a recall. The 360 of all the ones I have seen only overheat if you keep them in poorly ventilated areas or put them on softsurfaces that block the bottom vent holes.

As for PDZ most those people complain about taking forever to kill but really they arnt hitting anyone because they are not used to an Aiming system for console and are also used to mad auto-aim. You shoot someone in the head once who does not have armor they will die. 2 to 3 shoots in the head if they have armor with either the first or second shoot destroying the armor. Using a Sniper one shot to the head even with Armor on kills them. It is easy to kill people if you know how to shoot. Its just there is no Auto-Aim so it is hard to hit people. Most people think they are hitting you because of the Red Cursor but varying on the gun and such most the bullets may miss due to no Auto-Aim.

It overheats due to air ventalation, so if it's in a big open area, or a little above the ground it's perfectly fine. However a lot of gamers live in small basements or rooms where there's barley any windows or room to palce stuff.

if the x-box 360 has a bug or does something that it isnt normal then send it back to the shipping company.
if you didnt buy a warranty with the x-box 360 then your screwed.

i have to say that almost any game that comes out in x-box 360 will be awsome.

just watch when ps3 will have the exact problems.

The 1st shipments of PS2's had probly well over a 20% defective rate. Lonely Duck is right they did ship them with problems. How is the Xbox broke? Highest processing power of current gen, harddrive, full online support, and a slew of exclusive games that are wonderfull. The PS3 beating the Xbox360 already? Please the 360 is sold out which is not shabby at all. The PS3 only has 2 live game demos and that is Unreal Tournament 2007 and Metal Gear Solid thats the only real game footage. Not to mention they rely on SPI's which due to their low floating points will not work very good for AI or Physics only will work for Graphics. The PS3's price range has even been mentioned yet but to build one now even buying parts at wholesale it would cost over 800 dollars. I am not willing to pay 800 dollars for a system. Next generation belongs to Microsoft for innovating Online even more and to Nintendo for being the first console to ever have a PPU or Physics Processing Unit and of course the Remote biggrin.gif . The PS2 has not impressed me so I am for sure the PS3 will not. Also for the Basement dwellers it should work just fine because last time I checked most basements cover the base of the house.

so if your xbox is messed up do you just send it back and they give you a new one?

I really doubt that...

They repair it if you send it in. If it is beyond repair they send you a new one.
