hehehe you guys ever read revolations in the new testiment? it gives the descriptions of the end of the world. i believe it was paul that had these visions and he described him the best we can. think of the "beasts" that he describes as our war machines.

I dont believe in God or the testiments or whatever happened in Biblical times or WHATEVER during the period of Christ so I dont think anything that the testiments or the Bible says will deal with the end the world. I dont know HOW the world was created but it was created with a starting date and has an expiration date.

i was talking about the ability to balance the fusion of the sun or something along the lines. i wasnt talking about a way to survive it, Our sun to, will not super nova. It will become a black dwarf.

um a new world means a new solar system...

The Human Race will still survive, if the Earth is destroyed, we probably have Mars and a technology to make it look like Earth than a desert. Unless the Satans from Doom 3 kills us all!

So are you trying to say that if we landed on a planet other than Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, or Pluto... that we would have ANOTHER sun? If not... read THIS:
If we landed on any other planet in OUR solar system we'd die... The sun is a big ball of light that gives most planets heat... If we had NO sun... every planet would turn to Pluto... We DEPEND on the sun to survive and if we don't have an infinite heat source of signifacant heat... we... are... SCREWED!

Go Read the Bible it'll Tell you All About the Apocalypse!

I DONT INTEND TO OFFEND ANYONE but:
why care about apocalypse when we know we are going to die one way or another? I keep saying this but, religion is the reason which puts up these random ideas into people's head. Apocalypse? all of us are going to die one way or another. If religion hadn't put up with this apocalypse idea, i wouldnt be saying this.

religion isnt the factor to all of your lifes problems. ever hear about super volcanos, asteroid collisions, nuclear wars, giant tsunamis, global warming etc. thats the apocolypse too. and im sure that non religious people thought of them.

If that's the case then 7/7/07 Lady Luck will come and -Does not wish to finish sentence due to warns and suings by anti-gamer Jack Thompson-

But I seriously think something's coming in the future. Anti-christ..Meteors...Famines..Damned there's a lot of things in store for the human race, but I think the greatest threat is ourselves. Hell, with all the wars we've been through, it's only a matter of time before we annihilate ourselves with nukes.

What i mean in my previous post was that many people depend their life in religion. They strictly believe that religion is the answer to all and every answer out there. They also believe that the apocalypse is going to be like noah's semi-apocalypse. When poll is biased in religious favor, I say that the religion definitely impact the people. Of course I have heard about nuke war, tsunami, volcano, or even excessive radiation poisoning from nuclear reactions. But, what Im saying is quite clear, sayoka, that religion, which made up the term apocalypse, is responsible for making people think so "apocalyptic." For ideas of a super volcano, scientific datas clearly say that there aren't going to be a major explosion that will cause enough damage to human that it will wipe out humankind is not going to appear for millions of years while the volcano charge up its power. As of giant tsunamis, there simply arent enough water to cover landmass to high enough level before global warming occurs. again, the religious people came up with the idea of apocalypse and telling them if all of them turn bad, god will send apocalypse to earth to wipe them out.

Well... the world is covered with... I think 98% water? or... 78%... Some high number with an 8 in it. Id think thats enough water to cut the population down quite a bit if the world flooded. When I say the "apocalypse" I mean the end of the world... I wasn't thinking of God's apocalypse...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Sie_Sayoka on 2005-12-31 at 19:03:02
no a giant tsunami wouldnt wipe out the population. but nuclear war, global warming, super volcanoes, and asteroids can. so procuress your saying that if there was no religion we wouldnt even think of an apocolypse?

Russia and the USA could've owned each other to death during the Cold War. Lucky they had enough restraint than to allow the apocalaspze to happen then, yet it someday the idiots who run the world won't. When that happens (if it not be the first time) in the future where nuclear weapons are common (like household things, maybe in year 2300). We shall all die.

Ever hear of a nuclear winter?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Pyro_Maniak14 on 2006-01-01 at 00:53:03
Well... you be underestimating the power of nukes... But really it depends where and how hard it hits. If its underground there will be MASSIVE earthquakes and possible volcanic eruptions. If its above ground... well... nuclear winter of course. And if enough nukes went off so send smoke and debris into the air... the sun would be blocked and the freezing cold weather would pick off thousands of people everyday... Like I said before... no sun... no life.
