Thanks, and i know it's hard to tell in teh screenshots it probably looks like an AL|ENS map but i assure you upon release of the demo every1 will understand that it is very original..

Yeah this map is very unique alot of new aspects to it... happy.gif like UBCS said playing this map at 2 in the morning when your bored is... probably the best idea because you turn your lights off and volume up abit... and trust me your be pretty scared. happy.gif I even make the map and it scares me sometmes because I forget where I put everything Because I am an idiot. tongue.gif

i find dropship systems confusing and trivial, why not go with a backpack system??

however, the map seems cool, good luck with it

and UBCS, could i maybe test it???

The backpack system takes to much time.. you gotta click a unit and then.. drag it over to a beacon or where ever you want it to go... the dropship system... u select the dropship and select the unit thats in there that has the ABILITY you wan't to use and its over in seconds and it'll Centerview you back to your unit.. its very useful and not tricky its really easy to do.. this is my first time doing a dropship system and i've had no problems yet. happy.gif

And I don't sleep very often lol i usually stay up working on my maps or planning them or sumthing like that... or doing work for my clan. smile.gif

But really this map does have a few surprises that pop-out at you. You will understand more later.

This project has gone at a very fast rate, i mean this project was started less then a week ago and we are already to 21% done. It is not a small map either, we just seem to be working at a fast pace.

Honestly the screenshots make the map look like an A L | E N map. All i can say is wait untill you play the demo to judge.


Today i began work on the Fourth Level, referring a building with stories not goals, where you get more of a feel of the complexity of the building. It has a unique 'trolly' system in a futuristic state with some objectives that will blow your brain away in a fast pace of and i quote, " OMFG GOGOGOGO RUN QUICKLY HOLY shiz WE ARE RUNING OUT OF TIME !!!" I feel that this whole map will entertain the viewer throughout this dark-chaotic horror.

Just wait... you're going to be in love with it.

Please finish this map! You have made about 5-6 threads on these kind of maps and never finish them. The screenshots look very promising so please finish this for once! You might want to fix some of the text in the map though, like capitalizing and stuff like that, just to make it seem more professional.

Sweet map. Nice screenshots too. Looks really creepy. As I was reading I was think that you could make the whole thing a conspiracy, you know? As you progress through the levels you should have more of the story of why the massacre happened and why(if there is another reason besides they got loose biggrin.gif )
Of course you don't have to use my idea I just think it would make it more like... creepy and weird or scarey. Not like Doom or Quake or Area 51 though...

Use queen to infect one of your unit. I'm sure u know how to do that smile.gif And your objective is find a remedy!!! or you turn into one of them?

I dont know, go with the storyling and try fitting this idea, sounds pretty good to me

Is it possible to make your unit always plagued? FeaR had to show me that you can make a unit always blind. If we could settup triggers to make the units always plagued i think that would be a great idea. If we put it into cinimatic form and we put the REAL player units in a corner, while they are watching the units get plagued during the cinimatic the units at the top are quickly plagued too.
^_^ good idea to become infected, this would push the gamer to try harder to get the hell out of their before tehy fully become one. We also plan on finding innocent scientists in the lab, that can be infected. We talked about using in infected sucurity gaurd and have him pull an insane cop theme, like at the beginning of Resident Evil X.

Great idea's guys, keep up the good idea's. Oh and if your wondering what the Trolly like level will be like heres a screenshot...it's NOT done, and no units have really been placed on it but it shows you how you have to take a trolly through a bunch of turns...

Hahaha Nice everybody I see alot of people like this map & jsut for all you guys I'll work hard on it for a few days and Release a DEMO expect a demo by THURSDAY OR FRIDAY one of those days and it should be enough to have Im thinking around 5 or 6 levels. happy.gif

And I'm hoping that I can finish the Droship system... and to answer URMOM's thingy... we don't make a bunch of forums for these... this would only be the second one since... Contamination was not as good as this and we didn't really didnt decid on the name.

Great job UBCS on the trolly system... if everyone is wonderign what it is... if you play Half-Life one.. and when you begin you take a trolly to the more underground... secertly base.. this is basically how that will work... biggrin.gif

I see you have player1 as red and p2 as blue etc,, to add more scarier feeling, how about make their color all blackish or glowing color

haha that was the plan to make them all Blackish color but it was a test in the screenshots i didnt bother adding the colors to the players yet. happy.gif
