Also, I think that it's been really hot lately with the death of nuclearrabbit. That whole thing seemed to bring out the worst in a lot of people. Everytime I think it's cooling down, someone else makes a flaming topic. Just let the issue rest!

You mean by banning everyone with a MID more than 1500? You can't go back in time or change the fact that SEN is bigger than it was 18 months ago.

maybe not, but what YOU can do is take the time to look at all the members on this forum that sign up and NEVER come back...what would be the point in having them? to be more unrealistic it'll be sooner that NR comes back and posts then some of these people coming back...?

I mean really, they don't do anything, so why should we get rid of them?

why keep useless space? if the last time they went on staredit.net was when they signed up, they obviously dont intend on coming back mellow.gif i know it sounds harsh in a way..well actually..meh okey you have a point..
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Deathawk on 2006-01-09 at 00:26:04
I think you miss the point.
They have no signifigance, so doing that would be extra work. They don't really effect SEN in any way, they might as well just be there.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Do-0dan on 2006-01-09 at 00:26:36
if removing them from sen makes this place work better, then i say do it :0

for the most part sen has a good community but there are a few users that make the experience bad.

Like DTBK would say...AMEN TO THAT!

New members would like to see the forum big. So the more the spam members, then more tha new members think that this is an active community.

I joined because my cousin. Never knew about YaeXirrilion until like my 3rd bar level. Why can't he tell me ahead of time tongue.gif

I think it's the opposite. There are too many tightwads who think so hard about being mature that they end up being irritating. Also, everyone overreacts about small things.
Sen was at it's peak two summers ago, when maps weren't completely exploited and still had a little bit of mysterious juice in em.

Ouch. You put 14- and immature in the same category. That hurt.

QUOTE(DTBK)
Age != Intelligence

Amen to that(means age doesn't equal to intelligence, for those who don't know).

I was never around for the 'Good ole' days', but I agree that when you know every other member around it must have been bliss. As said before, quality is way better then quantity, and if it would have been like the 'good ole' days' (but I was there) it would have been better. But SEN would lose all its reputation if it tried to go back to how it was before because that would mean banning all members who are immature and there are 4000+ of those on SEN.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Freedawk on 2006-01-12 at 16:32:28
Actually 4000+ of them signed up jsut to download a few of our most popular maps. Why can't they just go to op sen and ask for it tongue.gif
