Damn, Rainbow Six and Counterstrike are two of the best Strategic Shooter games, since one shot can kill you, or your team mates.

RPGs interest me, mainly because I haven't found many good FPS that are say based in medieval times.

You can't really have a FPS in medieval times... I mean, I can only think of Crossbow/Bow. But meh, I'd like a good Civil War FPS.

Oblivion is coming out soon

I AM SO EXCITED! I have definately played the previous three elder scrolls! I even downloaded the dos emulator for Arena. Its so difficult because its...all...old and stuff. I'm not buying a 360 only for Oblivion. I hope a PC version (even though I hear elder scrolls on PC sux) comes out soon after. I wanna play so bad!

Last I heard they were having trouble keeping the framerate under control. With all the things the game has to track, mainly the NPC's (with their new complicated working town thingy of doom and awesomness), the testers are apparently reporting the biggest problem as the framerate.

And their running it on top-of-the-line computers.

So you have found some medieval FPS'? Where?

I wish I was a tester. The Morrowind game was actually really damn glitchy. Like how after you discovered too much, your map wouldn't work for some retarded reason.

I was playing a Male Wood Elf (on Morrowind) a few days ago.
Since it's first person, I didnt notice I had somehow been turned into a Female Nord until I went to use a potion.
It was the wierdest glitch (and the most unlikely) that ever happen to me in Morrowind.

I'd say ES on PC is better than on Xbox. Besides, with Xbox you mss out on all the modding fun.

Oblivion is supposed to come out Early 2006 (March-ish?). Can't wait. I should pre-order it some time...

i pick rpgs becuz they pwn any other game time becuz:
they get you to think to solve puzzles there are certain kinds of rpgs that are hard as hell to understand and they come with so much story scenes...

I agree, Elder Scrolls is definately one of my favorite games. Right up there next to Halo. Infact, I bought an XBox 360 Just so I could play it

But then they put the release date back! Noooo!

I have a level 87 Mage in Morrowind, I complete the Bloodmoon quests (with some help of the strategy guide)
I think I have an attack damage of like, 90...I took out the hardest boss in the game (on bloodmoon) with 8 hits with a mace...

Oh and partly becuase I abused many glitches! Yay!


Though I still like Shooter more becuase it's good for your health, In a way (OMG, A HEALTHY GAME! ). It makes your reaction time WAY, Way faster, and a bunch of other stuff that I can't really remember.
Oh and not to mention Halo is in part an intellectual game, Finding the easter eggs Bungie put in is half the fun.

I LUV strategy games especailly because SC is one (wait starcraft is the only strategy game i''ve played more than 7 times.)

Seriousness:
Any game where you can take full clip from and SMG (just an example, mind you), take cover and jump out just to take another clip is not an intellectual game. Counter-Strike, since you're a very lucky guy if you survive any lead being pumped into you, takes a lot of thought. It also promotes MUCH faster reactions because whoever can aim faster (assuming it's a head on encounter) wins. You also have to listen, use smoke, flashbangs, etc. You cant just charge in and expect to do any good.

RPGs....and strategy..Fire Emblem kingdom hearts and SC! best Combo ever (Maybe, prolly not but i said so anyways )
