You're wrong if you think ti will be like the games. I plan to feature the visual effects of a chaotic battle scene which you never get to see within the games. True, it is based off of the RE games however, i bring in my own creativity and my own character build up. I know they do resemble some of the RE characters, i will not denie this, imean look at me I'm T-Virus@USEast and UBCS@SEN. I'm a RE fanatic! However, this is my own work...

It's sad that you guys have nothing better to do then to insult my work. I am thinking outside of the box and rather then making another RESIDENT EVIL map I am comign up with my own ideas. I've used Bravo team and Alpha team since i started making S.W.A.T maps and that was in no relation to S.T.A.R.S. Just cool your negative critism.

Unlike all the other horror maps, mine will be well displayed and you will have many tasks at hand. The one thing i never liked about RE is it never showed how the RPD was destroyed. True, you read about it in the books and in games 2 and 3 you hear all about it. But something i never got to see was the chaos it's self. It frankly pissed me off because i always wanted to see the RPD under seige. Thats why my next may will probably relate to those events such as i was leading up to in RE: Conspiracy my year old project.

This map is strictly fan fiction, BASED off of RE with my own creativity mixed in. Now get off my back guys smile.gif.

Hey I'm not saying crap, but when the game looks like RE in a way, people expect it to flow EXCATLY like it, lickers, tyrants, hunters, an all.

I have an xbox.. so i can't play it..

& i didn't know that, all i knew is that outbreak file #2 was jsut a bunch of different scenario's to choose from. I remmeber hearing about the Zoo one thats about it.

You mean..with that large amount of zombies and barely any humans fighting? Doesn't sound like a "large battle" to me. And seriously, get out of here and let UBCS/T-Virus make his map.

Also jsut because it has a Resident Evil theme.. into it like zombies and crap doesn't mean its like Resident Evil if you look at our Biohazard map it has Zombies and crap all over the place and probably has a bit of Resident Evil theme into it but no one complained about it or started ranting how its the same as a resident evil map.

Just make the map Curtis don't listen to these idiots they just sit on this Forum all day trying to start fights and dissing other peoples maps and they have no clue how to make a good map so they need to diss everyone elses map.

I personally like seeing computers fighting computers so even from the start of the map i will have looped spawns to represent the chaotic battle scene between the police and the carriers. So like basicly even from the start of the map u will get to watch as others fight the race of the undead. Something, not very many other zombie maps have smile.gif.

No, however Biohazard-5 is coming out on xbox 360 within a year or two.

& if you were poor like me, you can't afford it. So unless some1 magicly guives me a PS2 or a GC i won't be doing much RE gaming lol. I've read all the books besides Cove.

Are the books worth reading?(never read any)
And are the books canon or not?(are they giving something to RE story or are the just like the movies??)

The books are so much better then the games and the movies.

The movies suck rooster and teh games don't go in debt enough. The books are definately worth reading. I hate reading books but when i picked up A RE book i couldn't put it down untill it was finished. You can't call yourself a real RE fan untill you've read the books. wink.gif

Chris is going to do my item system for me & i'm doing the terrain for one of his new maps..so basicly we traded maps for a little so we are helping eachother out.

Wow ausome, I made a kind of map that was simple, took me (liturally) 1 hour and has tons of bugs, but its fun and if u want to see the RPD geting farked i can send it to you, but meh its not mucH! and UBCS (or can i just call you curtis, i just aint used to calling u UBCS) are u gonna be using Dark_Marines Mod?

Dark marine and I are talking about using his mod for my map. We are also talking about putting me on his little mod team seeing how i'm a big RE fan.

& As for Hertz you will soon see upon reviewing of the map that it much differ from most of the commanly known zombie maps.

I downloaded the R.E books, and bought 2 and lets say that they rock, The one in the mansion (Umbrella conspiricy or something? i cant remember) was the best, pity about whesker

Im not sure thats going to work that well....granted, I don't know much about your terrain, ok I know nothing about the terrain, triggers, and loads of other stuff about your map, but if you have computers racing to fight each other, then the human players can tag along with the allied computer and snipe down the zombies, maybe stomaching a few hits here and there.

Basically, its going to be like a Aeon of Strife type of deal. Eventually the humans will push the zombies back to their spawn point and unless they stop spawning, the allied computer will just sit there and camp them to death, while spawning a crapload more of guys, creating massive lag, and effectively taking out that feature completely of the map because then the players wont be able to see the cool humans and zombies going back and forth.

If you make that spot secluded though, where players cant get to it, it doesn't affect them, and now its just a waste of triggers and work. But say you do make it affect them, like if zombies reach too far into human territory or something, and that affects the humans, then they will be mad because they cant do anything about it!

Ok, so say you fix up that part where they are affected, humans slowly get pushed back, but they can do something about it. But they cant push so far back into zombie spawning area. Then that means a human always has to sacrifice himself from going along with everyone else to go find items, explore the city, whatever, because if hes not there, then human players could loose.

Maybe Im all wrong on this, but could you please elaborate on how you're doing this? I am only seeing bad things coming from it...

You're idea is going into the complexity of a computer vs. computer battle. This isn't what i want... I simply thought i would start the map out with you being behind a barrier along with serveral Police officers who are defending whats left of their city. You eventually trail off from the main battles and work your way into the sewers. All and all you do serveral mini quests along the way of getting out of this apocalypse.

I will eventually have computer allies follow you. However, what i was referring to their is a simple computer defense vs. computer offense. It will be very balanced out and no side will over run the other, it's more for scenary.

"u fight many battles, u survive, ur team of cops are on break, u talk about stuff like, we're gonan keep fighting till we die, theres no end, etc. u arrange a plan to escape the maddness to try to live.. thats where u exit the main battles and escape thru wateveru throw at us"
