....four years since the brood war.....

Four years aye. That means kerrigan is proboly 34 biggrin.gif. O well just like that other guy said they'll just update it. But there was a fan revolt. They said they wanted blizzard to delay the game and make SC2 but blizzard refused and still went on working on the upcoming game SCG. Well than what else can you do but wait.
Anyways in 10 years SCG will just fly away and you'll see it hanging in the dollar store for $0.50. w00t.gif

Blizzard just concentrated all of their time into Warcraft and Wow. I think starcraft would bring them just as much money. World of starcraft would be cool too, so basically, convert everything that is warcraft into starcraft.

Blizzard is wanting more World of warcraft stuff and not starcraft. I recently visted a local store and I saw a bunch of World of warcraft CDs and I was more astounded that you have to pay to play on the WOrld of warcraft server. In starcraft they would never let you.

Ok lets move on back to starcraft ghost. Blizzard kept continously delaying the release of starcraft ghost and nobody knows the exact release date. It could be when WERE ADULTS FOR HEAVEN"S SAKE! Blizzard might make another warcraft game sad.gif because they're probably thinking "oh we just released a starcraft ghost game, we can now go to warcraft again because every fan of starcraft is happy" wrong! Blizzard probably forgot that none of us even wanted starcraft ghost in the first place. We wanted starcraft 2! We wanted a more control legions atmosphere, more map making, more ulitlities, more possiblities. Blizzard is also very nervous about releasing Starcraft 2, so they're using starcraft ghost as an excuse to not release it, so that they would not have to handle this sort of magnitude coming from the starcraft fans.

Blizzard is currently lucky since they're feeding off map-makers, making starcraft brood war a game with lots and lots and lots and LOTTTTTTS of possiblities. One day all those posiblities will run out and what will they do then? Starcraft Ghost wont provide the infinate fun that the Original starcraft games provided. Even though everything is 3D, it dosen't mean that they get a break.

Unfortuantely Starcraft ghost will have to be delayed and delayed until they get the courage to release it, and think of making their scaredly-cat starcraft 2 later on.

The reason it's taking so long is because they swithed devolpers and had to completely redo the game. Now it was delayed recently due to adding of multiplayer and tuneing it up to perefection. I hate how everyone is babbaling like retards as if the game was actutally delayed for 3 years. Are you retarded? If a game is delayed for more then 2 years it's basically given up on. SC: GHost was never delayed, it was just bad guessing for Blizzard on a release date. Plus they DO have to update WOW every day and stuff.

I would agree with you, that is very true.

Besides, I already asked a question in the Battle.net forums a while ago if StarCraft: Ghost would be compatible on the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3 and some people agreed to "delay" it even longer in order for Blizzard to make StarCraft: Ghost support the next gen-consoles.

A question about SC:Ghost: What the f**K is the problem making a port for PC?!?I will not buy a console just to play sc.

They will. Just watch.

Blizzard sayed that it won't be for PS3 and Xbox360,I've readed that in a magazine...

So? Tales of Symphonia was said to be Gamecube exclusive. Now it's on PS2.

Capcom had an exclusive Resident Evil contract with Nintendo. Resident Evil 4 did so well it's now on PS2.

NO WAY
Maybe it's because Starcraft was released on 1998 and WoW is released in 2004. Also WoW is a MASSIVLY MULTIPLAYER ROLE PLAYING GAME. Per server you can have anywhere from 2 people to 2 THOUSAND PEOPLE. In starcraft? Maximum of 8 on a very small map. WoW is huge, with a shizload more things to do, you can't support all that with income of game buying alone. That's why it has monthly fees, and it means they make new dugeons, quests, weapons, etc.

They are, it's called an expansion pack, it must've been incredblie hard to make. It's a new race, Dark Elves, look exactly like Night Elves, but... RED!!

Blizzard is a major gaming company, how they got Third Person Shooter from Real Time Strategy is beyond me, but they're not RETARDED. They won't just give up on starcraft, they know what SC fans want. And to be honest, if SC2 DIDN'T take a long time to make I wouldn't trust it. Starcraft was in devolpment for 5 years, it paid off because people will soon be playing it for a decade. Rarely any other games have achieved a online community as the one Starcraft has. So if they were to start production TODAY the game would be done in 2011, if it was put to it's fullest. Or since they probably have better staff now, it could be as soon as 2008. But that's doubtful. Chances are most people at SEN will be out of school, and midway through college before SC2 is out.

No shiz sherlock, how do you out do one of the best games in history?

THEY'RE not lucky, YOU'RE lucky you got to play a game as good as this. The way people describe starcraft, and how much fun it is. It's like a cult, a really cool, tricked out, awesome cult. But one of the shinest gem of a game people have seen. So making the sequel to Starcraft is a very Daunting Task. Which has been failed numerous times: Halo 2, Majora's Mask, Prince of Persia 2, Devil May Cry 2, etc. etc. It's a hard task, and you don't "just do it" it'll take time. Get use to it.

You're an idiot, no one knew they would switch devolpers, that's why the game was delayed for so long. Read the topic first bud.
