The movie was definently overhyped. I watched it last night and it was quite a letdown. Too much was left out for the movie to be coherent, and it wasn't especially interesting. The author's books are far too formulaic to be any good.
I think that they could have made it last a little longer, it wasnt that long of a movie, little under 2 hours, I think that they should have put another half an hour into it and made it describe more and go over the code a little more. To keep the watcher guessing it!
