waveracers was mediocre at best. But then again, its the only map I played from the contest so everyone musta been baad.

Different people, different tastes. I haven't played any other maps becides mine except for Ocean warfare, Fish Market, and Island Taxis.

I kept getting bugs with Kenoli's Wave Racers map with the wave system. I guess moose didn't notice that.

I hope it stays a monthly tradition. I like the competition. It seems Moose likes to wait until a few weeks before the end of the month to start contests.

UMS contests are judged by almost 99% opinion. And especially since this one was judged by one person only, these results do not reflect the general population's rating of these maps.

When is this months contest?Im new to this and i want to see what im made of and try to prove myself and see if i have skill.So please spill it moose.And yes i know alot about map makeing and many map makers and all i just have never tried to make maps so i wanna test myself with this contest,i cant think of somewheer to start a topic like that would help.

I would also have to advise pedestrian to not use these contests to prove to yourself you have skill. Remember that only 1 person is judging them, and even though I think he does a good job in the judging, it would be very easy for him to simply not like your map when many others would, just because people are different. If you do well, all the power to you, but don't be disappointed if you don't do well.

However, a contest for June would be rather nice

Good luck with the maps you do end up making, pedestrian.

"The ocean" Didn't inspire me. Which is funny because i've been more inspired by the others but this one had 17 submissions, people probably thought that there wouldn't be much people so if they entered they would automatically win.

Looking forward to the next contest when june comes around, wait... wait...
