very impressive, anything under 4.5 is considered and excellent 40 yard-dash time.
Yes soccer isnt something you need to workout for, normally, but I play as a sweaper, for those of you that dont know it is the last defender and I normally take people down and steal the ball from poeple. And being able to push people off the ball makes it easy, even though I am really short for my age. I still own all the big guys
O that makes more sence I follow it i jus dont play

Size doesn't mean anything. Strength is very important in all sports. It doesnt matter what kind of sport you are playing. You need to be physically fit and strong (not nessecarily lifting wise). Yes if you're looking to gain some strength 7-7 i recommend that you do the body building work out one week then do a light weight more rep the next week, and keep rotating those every other week and make sure that you do core work outs as well. Soccre players need very strong cores to play.
Actually supplements are for people who cant do it by themselves, its also disgusting.
Btw your BSING about the weights and max reps you do.
If you were to do that much, you would have more body mass. Also knowing that you take supplements, with that kind of protein gain and weight, your weight should be around 200!
Also Dark Archon, its not 30 second - 3 minutes
Its 1 - 3 minutes or you wont be able to go on further as much.
Your muscles need a break for 1 to 3 minutes
To 7-7, you dont need to work out much. Only your neck ( Neck Crunches), and your legs. Which you can do squats , hindu squats, and calf raises. Since you are a soccer player you wouldnt need upper body as much so you should really concentrate on your lower body unless you wanna be fit. Actually you should work out evenly or your legs would be muscluar but it wouldnt be as bad as working out only the upper, which you would have chicken legs.
Im working out for MMA ( Mixed Martial Arts) which I havent started yet but I need to get ready since me and my friend would be the only kids there and the other people are adults.
You forgot about back work outs and middle work outs too.
For back and leg you do bent over rolls and dead lifts
Also for the middle body you have to do Planks, Crunches, sit ups, and russian twists. (I know this is off topic from weight lifting but if you only work out your upper body, your body wouldnt function as well.)
Actually not quite buddy. My height is only 5'6" so no i shouldnt weigh 200 pounds. And yes i do take supplements and no, supplements are not disgusting, and third of all i think i would know about this stuff. I work out all the time and have been for the last 4 years of my life, im 17 right now.

I do work my legs, I can squat like 800 pounds. No joke. I can bench 285, I am 5'10" and weigh 170 pounds. I can run a mile in 5 minutes and 10 seconds and I can run 100 meters in 10.5 seconds. I am in very good shape!
And I am 16
for your squat thats pretty hard for any body builder to do. your prolly talking about the squat machine which is much easier to do. Free weight squating is much much harder then the machine squat. Yes doing leg work outs are very important but you also need to do upper body and cores to stay evenly balanced physically.
Mini Boobs the 30 second rest period is for my circuit workout.
Stronger muscles contract faster.
there are many different types of work outs. Not everyone has to follow your work out mini. Thats what you have to understand. Everyone has different types of body types and obviously you cant catch onto this kind of concept. Obviously DA's workout works for him so hes going to stick with that which doesnt mean his is the right work out to follow by its what works for him. I bet you wont find one work out on the net that will be perfect for you. THere will always be changes made and so on. I worked out for 3 years straight without taking supplements and my gains werent as tremendous as they are now and i need a big gain in all my major lifts to be sucessful in football. This is why i take supplements and not all supplements are bad. Just go into GNC and they will hook you up with some supplements that would work with your body type. Believe me i kno a lot there is too body building and training and diets, supplements, etc. I hoope to become a personal trainer one day so knowing all this is very important.

sorry to break it to you, the only way your going to make good gains is by taking suplements.

HAHAHAHHA, that's probably the worst statement I've heard in my life.
My max bench is around 325, and my squat is around 510, and my power clean is around 400.
I've taken no supplements at all, and I'm a lineman in my football. I'm also 15.
OK? Your point is? What you just said has nothing to do with gains. Im saying if you want to make quick gains, then taking supplements is the best way to do so. Your just telling me your max bench, squat and dead lift which has nothing to do with gains. And im sure you weigh a lot more than i do. I only weigh 160 and my height is only 5'6" so my max weight is very good for my height and weight.

Ya the one where you sit down and push it up, not sure what exactly what its called, but most of the other kids at my school do like 300 or 400 and football player maybe like 600 to 700. They are all jeulos of me!
thats pretty impressive 7-7. Yes your talking about the squat machine. I don't do the squat machine, i do the free weiht squat, i feel the work out a lot more for some reason but like i said before people have there own preference when workin out, so if that works for you, i would stick with that. Theres this one kid in school who puts up like 1300 pounds but hes a beast, hes 6'11 and weighs like 330, hes had a scholarship for college football since hes been a freshman. hes been playing varsity football for 4 years now. Hes amazing.
Thats a huge kid! I played varsity soccer my freshman year and as a sophomore I was team captain along with a senior and I am captain this year as a junior.
Congrats man, i started playing varsity for football as a sophmore and have been captain for 2 years so far, and this year i start my senior year so most likely ill be captain three years in a row. For baseball i have been playin varsity since a freshman but i like playing football a lot more then i do with baseball. But i love watching baseball over any other sport.

800 lbs?
If you see highlights of professional MMAers (Not wrestlers because they are fake) Do around 600lbs and they are in their prime (When they are most strong).
Also supplements are disgusting to me because its a way of cheating. Its like an easy way to getting bigger muscles. I choose not to do it because its a waste of money and I can get it from food that I like. Like peanut butter and jam, steak , bread , milk, and etc.
And JMoney, can i ask what part of New York you are from? Because I dont know any parts of NYC that has football in their school.
First off Mini, hes talking about the machine squat, not the free weight squat, free weight squat is much harder then that of the squat machine. and im not from the city, im from long island and yes the city does have football teams, theres soemthing called new york city vs long island at hofstra every year after the football season and only the best of the best high school football players from there areas are invited to play in taht game. So i think you shouldnt be saying anything considering you dont live over here.
Anyone try egg whites international? Thats the only extra portien I take. Actually tastes better then any protien shake ive had.
I'm actually scared to take creitine. Theres definaitely a consensus that it will increase ur gains, but even the its advocates admit that it akes ur muscles softer due to increased water retention.
Jmoney, do u creitine cycle? I want another opinion on creitine because I think I might have to use it now that I'm not really gaining. i just wanna know what myths/facts about the side effects held true for u, because I already know it works.
your suppose to take creatine 2 weeks in a row, then stop for a week becaus if you take too much of it, it can hurt the kidneys, but its safe as long as you kno how to use it safely.
Machine Weight Work Outs dont do as much for you as regular which I do.
Also you forgot something which I forgot too, I noticed it yesterday when I had to work out. You need to stretch or you will get cramps and you might even tear a muscle

...
Nobody 6'11" would bother even playing football, they'd get their legs smashed so easily.
Roffle you didn't know to stretch? You're suppose to stretch before and, most importantly, after you work out. Keep you from getting sore the next day, or yeah, tearing a muscle.
Only workout my core and arms. I bench about 10 pounds less then my actual weight about 10 reps, but I only weigh 135 lol
I curl 50 about 15 reps for biceps
I do fireman pushups for triceps (pushups where you make a diamond with your two pointer fingers and thumbs)
and i do situps for abs.
tip is never to work out constantly. workout maybe two days in row n take a break
it takes twice as long to loose the muscle you've gained if you stop working out and you need to give your body time to rest and actually build the muscle because if you keep working out your muscles wont be able to build onto themselevs if they're always in use.
Yes its common sense to stretch before and after working out. Your muscles will tighten up and you wont be able to move. If you dont stretch your flexibility decreases a lot. Just a little tip for who ever works out.
I dont take creatine or any other type of muscle inhancements of any type. I dont think that they can really help you. I know a lot of kids that use it in my school and I own em!
