I have been using macs for 10+ years and never had one virus, or had to send it in to get repaired.. we just paid for it at the price and it still works 5 years later.. I use limewire all the time. Exactly. If you just download Mp3's off of Limewire, you won't get a virus... since you can't put virus's in Mp3's. If your going to DL other stuff, torrent it, or get it from a hacking community.

I also, do research before I dl a song, If i see a song 3 times, 1 is sized 3,900 kb another is sized 3,950 kb and another is sized 950 kb I would ignore the 950, and get the 3,900.

Hold control alt delete, and go to your process list. You will then see the key to your computer's health. Familiarize yourself with the things that are running under user name (not system) and then whenever something's fishy, you can then check that list to see what's new, and what is the problem. It usually stands out like a sore thumb. Then, you can end the process, and use spybot and spysweeper or other good programs (not norton or mccrappy) to get rid of the viruses once you end the process.
