I like those, but I wouldnt want to waste room on it. Trust me the new picture is way better than the first one.
Try not to use more than 15 of those white sprites... They begin to look rediculous(thats why I suggested rantent and escher).
0/10
Too blocky, too many sprites, looks nothing like a real waterfall youd see in the Hall of Fame.
Go to the tut Database to see a tut on how to make a waterfall if you need help.

oh god.. At least I'll get to see a good example of a waterfall??
2/10. I was gona give it a zero but I can't be a hypocrite cause im gona try to make a waterfall soon. The Rushign water sprites are to spread out its like half water half stream. Also the water splashs (hallus) Are to grouped in, they need to be a bit spread out.
My recommondation: Continue working on this
waterfall tutorial.

50 is alot for a real map??(isnt the max 255 like everything else?)
The terrain around it is a lot more blocky that than the waterfall... You might wanna touch up the terrain around the waterfall also... The mirrored underwater cave entrance it part of it... It blends really bad with the leafy underwater tile... And trees can exist in water... Maybe not huge ones the only reason I agree with the 'no-tree-in-water-idea' is because they are too random... If it was on the edge of the coast, it'd look better.
I think people are missing the big picture here. First of all, at least you can use it in a game without having a buttload of sprites put into it (and yes, you can make very good terrain and still put it into a game). Second, its better than you think! Sure its got some mashed tiles that could be redone but HEY! Have you seen the crap noobs like me are turning out! HAVE YOU!??!?! At least your not having to hurt your eyes and actually look at it and THEN type in your -9999/10 answer. I'd say its pretty good. It may not be as good as SOME waterfalls but it doesn't have to be perfect and in the Hall of Fame, seriously, give me a break! At least it pwns about 1500+ noobs!

No, it's 1700.
I thought it's 1700 including unit sprites. Like if you would put like 1650 waterfall sprites on a map you couldn't spawn more than 50 units or something(each unit requires a sprite). Or units can't shoot(that also requires sprites).
You can only place 255 in the editor.

So how else are you planning on placing them? Last time I checked you can't place sprites in-game(unless you count making units as placing sprites)
.
You could hex them in. Ever think of that?
Alright, I have finally taken screenshots and posted it up. Tell me wat you think after.
ADDITION:
Anything? If you dont know I posted up the new SS.
The after SS is still blocky...i just dontl like how you made the square terrain in the middle of it.
I see, ima see if I can fix it when I get everything back.
I belive having a waterfall ingame for an RPG might just add to the lag
Not an rpg, but a massing game it would.
Unless in this rpg, you command armies of 100+ , then I would worry about it
