Some of you aren't saying yay or nay...  I know how to make it better, so just yays and nays now.  Also, I said this was just a rough draft, meaning it is incomplete and I know it.

What you see as a height problem, is exactly want I want.  I want it to look as much like a real aqueduct(thanks crono for spelling tongue.gif ) as possible.  You see, aqueducts aren't the same height whole way, they gradually get shorter or taller when they travel over slopes and dips and things.
Sssh.  Don't give away all our secrets tongue.gif .  Don't worry there are plenty more biggrin.gif .

You're off topic! Report yourself!

Technically all three of you are off topic because none of your posts contain anything to do with aqueducts.(except deads quotes maybe)...

I thought that aqueduct is a bridge like water way over a river or canyon. Yours doesn't go over anything.

An aqueduct is a primitive pipeline that transports water by gravity. It doesn'y have to go over anything, but it does need a start and/or finish.

Word. Aquaducts were used for major towns to transport water if water was not readily avaliable.

The finish will be inside the city with a little well looking thing.

Well, here's a little problem on the whole thing, how will you make an end of it? A reservoir, a pump station (if that existed, an aqueduct would be pretty useless though)?

God damn! You people are really specific on what you need to see on an aqueduct. Can't you accept it for what it is?! Aqueducts weren't things to decorate... They were just there for water transportation.

Jello, I think it looks great. Keep it the way it is.

Lord-Omega... Aqueducts never had fans to suck in water and they never had paddles to push the water along. Your own looks like a product of the future's wastelands technology... A sci-fi spin off!

Well, the i'm not sure the time frame of the map this is for, but i was going for like an advanced civilization that fell and so we only have bits and peices of the advanced technology, so they combined ancient tech w/ advanced tech, and got something like a sci-fi spin off of an old aqueduct. smile.gif so technically, it totally fits with the fans and all, but I don't think I will use 60 sprites... More like 10-15. smile.gif And, as i said crono, there will be like a town well. You have to remember that people use water pretty quick these days(showers and plants being the most), so the input will be outdone by the out put, so no reservoir would be needed. smile.gif

I said I was going to remove those stones on the top of the aqueduct abovet he water. That leaves only 2 tree sprites and that pillar. smile.gif

You can't remove those and have it still look as good as it can. Mine takes your idea but minimizes the number of sprites while still appearing good.

Church. If I use 20 less sprites, then I get to put 20 more sprites somewhere else if needed. If not, then the game will just run smoother smile.gif .
