Ender's Game, that's another good book.
@KK-I know, I read your post. And I fixed mine.

Basically anything by PJ O'Rourke
Eragon and Eldest
The Outsiders
State of Fear
I'll probably think of more later.

We read The outsiders as a class novel, and they said it was stupid because there were brothers trying to tell each other not to cry and whatnot.

Yeah, Dan Brown books tend to be fun though shallow and predictable. I've read Digital Fortress and Angels & Demons and enjoyed them both. However, my favorites include the Dark Elf books by R.A. Salvatore (someone mentioned the Icewind Dale Trilogy),
Those are all that I can think of off the top of my head, although I have more.

Yeah, that was me. I just randomly picked up
The Crystal Shard one day when I was going through my Dungeons and Dragons fanatic phase (I always played as drow...). After finishing it, I bought all his books on Drizzt and loved them.
I read
The Outsiders in 9th grade. I thought it was a bit dated, but still great.
The Outsiders was a goodbook, we had to read it in 7th. Not the best book, but still good. There arent many mid-range books like that. I usually love or hate something. The author, i forget his name, wrote a few other books one or two breiefly relating to the outsiders, and ive read those too.

Favorite books read:
a)Eragon and Eldest
b)lotr trilogy
c)Eisenhorn
d)Da Vinci Code
e)Harry Potter
Books I hate:
a)Goosebump books(although they are the first books I began to read)
Oh man! I had like 20 Goosebumps books when I was in Elementary school. Those were my favorite growing up. I remember having crazy pre-adolescent debates with my fellow 5th graders on why Goosebumps was soooooo much cooler than Animorphs. I still have all my Goosebumps books, too, in my garage. In retrospect, they're both not that great. Heh.
I like the resident evil books, The World is Flat, Da Vince Code, Fliege Fliege Fliege!, etc...
Resident evil books? The things people do for fun
.

Wait, you read it, but "they" said it sucked? WTF?
Is the Da Vinci Code really that good? My brother said it sucked, as well as my grandfather.
I thought the Da Vinci code was decent, but Angels and Demons is far better.
Yes. Angels and Demons rocked my mind. Such a fantastic ending and exciting everything else..

Whats wrong with them? They are astonishingly very good books. There are seven of them so far.

As I said earlier, the Da Vinci Code is a fun read (and interesting if you're a history fan like me), but Dan Brown's style of writing isn't that great. Angels and Demons is awesome as well, as other have pointed out. I suggest at least looking at one of 'em. To me, The Da Vinci Code is an easier read, if it matters.
What's Angels and Demons about?
Its like a prequel to Da Vinci Code, I guess you could say. It introduces you to Robert Langdon (the main character of Da Vinci Code) as he explores the secrets of the Illuminati. Its kinda the same premise as Da Vinci Code as far as Dan brown's obsession with secret rganizations goes. Unlike the Da Vinci Code, however, Langdon helps the Vatican in an attempt to find the Illuminati before they blow up Vatican City.
If I messed up in some way, perhaps someone else can give a better synopsis. Its been a while since I've read it.
Nah, you hit it on target. It's more exciting and suspenseful and all-around awesome then The Da Vinci Code.
Yeah, definately more suspenseful. I really liked the history in The Da Vinci Code (then again I was on my school's Academic Decathlon team and the topic was the Renaissance), but Angels and Demons was a much more action-packed thrillride. And I'm actually happy that its going to be made into a film.
I started reading it last night, continued today, its good so far.
You'll positively love the ending.

Made into a film? I hope the director or whoever's directing it dosen't bomb it like they did with The Da Vinci Code because I heard that The Da Vinci Code sucked.
Actually I liked The Da Vinci Code. It was really long, but it was good at visually explaining what went on. I think Ron Howard is a great director and I'm sure he'd do a good job with Angels and Demons, supposing he were to direct that one as well.
Ender's Game. The best.

And I did
I finished reading it Monday morning, seeing as we had a day off of school
Great book, I'd recomend it highly.
I enjoy the 'Naruto' series, by Kishimoto Masashi (that's in Japanese format). Also, 'Pressure Points: The Deadly Touch' by Bruce Everett Miller. I haven't read it, but I want to
