Mini Boobs. Keep a compass. When your compass stops working say "OMG! THE EARTH IS GONNA DIE OUT WE'RE DOOMED OMGZ0R!"
Good thing is. The US's land aint gonna be highly effected by the full melting of the Ice. Canada is and they don't need those lands anyhow because it's a glacier land. Global warming isn't entirely a big threat to us guys.

Ok, so when the Mid-West becomes unbearable to farming, Florida and New York have water rushing in from raised ocean levels, and we have penguins extinct. I guess then it will he appropriate to worry about Global Warming? Sure, we could just move, but SUmmers will become ever hotter. And I don't think already hot areas or humid areas want that.

i think technology will continue to grow exponentially, there will likley be another big war.we are kind of in a peacefull spot if you look at the history of the world a few hundred years back.we are also going to continue and ignore korea

Everyone says that we are going to blow oursleves up with amtomic warfar but I think every ruler on the planet is smart enough not to nuke somebody out of pure stupidity, and I think the US will be able to stop every type of attack against us, and withhold every other country.

The bold part is killin' me! lmfao.gif

Well, about US being able to defend itself against nuclear attacks:
The US may not be as powerful by that time as it is today. And we don't know what will be the weapon of mass destruction in the future. Maybe nuclear weapons will become yesterday by then.

I am glad that I give Jammed good enough posts to quote in his Signature, well, what I was trying to say was that, no one is just going to nuke the heck out of somebody so I dont think we will die of Nuclear Warfare.

If earth did die out i think it would go like this : user posted image

lol, so you say we are gonna get a little better than we are now, then slowly depress, then we realize we are gonna die? Kick peoples arses to be the bestest, then we die.

The only thing I sure know will happen is that when there is no more oil left we'll literally start starving untill a new source is grown.

All I hope is that SEN stays up forever, this way I can go somewhere when I am bored, and I just love coming here, I want it to stay as v4.1 though!

OMg what a weird thing.. I was just thinking about this. i think life would be worse. THe US will have a lot more fat people. And the rest of the world will just prob get better technology wise but i don't know everything will be weird.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-10-25 at 19:10:19
Oh ya, we will have a bunch of genius people listening to their iPods and playing on their computers. Also I agree that poeple will be very fat, sitting in front of the computer will make and all the fast food you want.

This isnt all going to happen over night it will probably happen in a few centuries.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-10-25 at 20:39:29
Ya, I know that all this is going to happen in my lifetime, but history normally repeats itself and looking back it happened to most of the big countries.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Lithium on 2006-10-26 at 08:42:58
Those informations are way out of date. All the technologies you see and do are all there in Africa and India and even in Vietnam. The normal people just dont have any money to afford that stuff.
It's just the multi-billion projects and highly secretive technologies the U.S. developes what other countries do NOT have.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-10-26 at 13:05:29
Yes, but the people that do have them are probably smart enough not to launch an attack without a huge reason to do so. If we have secret things going on that other contries dont have, how does a SC player on SEN know about it? jk, I know there are things going on that are secret but we dont know what they are! pinch.gif

You know, 7-7, you don't have to make up something that gets you two sentences every time someone posts just because you want to be an elite.

Anyway, there are two possibilities.

1. Great advance: Looking at how far we've come in the past 200 years: cars, planes, rockets, television, telephone, and recently the ability to teleport objects using quantom physics (Only less than a meter so far, though), we will go even farther. We gain 200 more years of technological advances; we have teleporters, superspeed spaceships, etc.

2. Downfall: But, do we have the resources? Earth's natural resources will become deplete. Tungsten, used in lightbulb filament, is estimated to last us 70-100 years. We'll need to start using osnium after that, and that is not a very common resource, either. Oil isn't going to last us forever, and plenty of other metals are going to deplete in hundreds of years.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Centreri on 2006-10-26 at 16:49:38
And when all the resources start disappearing the governments will all be competing for the remaining ones, and the resource-rich countries will get rich. And after that, a few countries might start a war out of desperation and nuke us to a million tiny pieces.

But generally, I'll go with what Merrel said.

What do you mean always two sentances, why would I rush to be an elite if the posts are just going to be set back to zero when v5 comes out.

But we don't need to use incandescent lightbulbs anymore. Flourescent lamps FTW!

I personally don't believe it's possible to have one single government to rule the world for any great length of time. There will always be a group who will rebel because they feel opressed.

If we do somehow acheive practical space travel, I don't think that the human race will ever die out, because the world will probably start an interstellar space race, and start new colonies on other planets.

The ideal government dies with those who thought it up. Its not any fault with any of the later leaders, (although we like to think it is) Its simply that the interpretation of the ideas in the system become changed.

In 200 years humans might have evolve to 2 stomachs to process all that fast food and kfc. Well that wasnt might quote I got that from someone on IMDB.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-10-28 at 09:59:06
That would be crazy, if you think about it, it is possible because everything so far has evolved to adapt to its environment, if there is a problem with the food we aat our stomache may grow a friend.

But you also have to take in that if this caused any problems, like someone had a second stomache they would probably get it removed with some surgery, because we can do that stuff now.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by CaptainWill on 2006-10-28 at 10:51:32
It would take a lot longer than 200 years to evolve a second stomach.
