NOSTALGIA! Oh gosh, the moments!
My first real computer game was Age of Empires 2 demo.
I remember playing it a whole lot.
Real as in...?
Is Duke Nukem any less 'real' than F.E.A.R.? Is Civilization any less 'real' than Supreme Commander?
Zelda: A link to the past
On SNES. GG'd and FTW.
Well thats my 3rd video game technically. My first was on pc called freddie the fish and the missing kelp seed.

Pokemon Yellow on Game Boy. Isn't that what got everyone into video gaming?
My first computer game was Age of Empires I. God, those were the days; catapults firing cows, nuke troopers, cars with machine guns, going to friends' houses for LAN parties.. My first game was in 1996 and i cant remember if it was SC or Quake or Doom.
The New Zealand Story - on an Amiga A520.
It was a great platformer which even had flyable vehicles. I really want to play it again!

I only played those illegally via emulators on my PC
I did love those games though.
PC: Arkanoid/Pacman something
FPS - wolf3d :-D
First game I ever played was the original DOS Space War. I was three. Good times, good times...
Mine isnt up there, I had the original Nintendo with the two A, B buttons and the directional buttons. It was the best, especially when I got the Playstation next, quite the difference, then the PS2!
I think my first system was Commodore 64, although we might have had game systems earlier than that. If it really was the Commodore 64 that was my first console, then Ernie's Magic Shapes would have been my first game.
My first one was a NES! and to this present day I still play from time to time just because to play Duck Hunt. Even though it takes a couple blows into the console every once and awhile its still fun to get the thing workin! I've got quite a story about this.
My parents were always against video games for me. No matter how much I begged and pleaded they wouldn't get me anything above one of those single game hand-held consoles by manufacturers of board games. (aka they sucked, if you know what I'm talking about, I pity you as well...)
Then, our local McDonalds had a raffle of sorts. They were selling Sonic The Hedgehog plastic toys to celebrate the release of the newest Sonic game for Sega Genesis. (Sonic 3) The raffle they had was that the first kid to show up in the store with all of the collectible toys went home with the brand new video game. Now I at the time did not have a Sega Genesis, so I didn't really even have the ability to play the game even if I got it, but I was determined to find the figures. Now I did the conventional method of eating at McDonalds, but even then there were a few toys out there that were actually pretty rare. I know I traded a few on the playground to get my collection, and I even found one (the knuckles collectible) at a garage sale. With that, I went back to the McDonalds and received my very first video game. (Sonic 3 for those of you who haven't been reading this paragraph.) I was the first person in our town to receive the video game, as apparently it was a promotional thing that was held before the shipping reached our area. I had the game, but it took my parents until my next birthday until they got me the genesis to go with it. (which was about a year after I received it.)
Needless to say, the wait paid off, and that game still is one of the best I've ever played.
no genises? WTF? XD well, that was mine. genises. games were: sonic 1, 2, 3, sonic and knuckles, sonic spinball, ghouls and ghosts, zombies ate my neibors, shinobi III. I loved my genises. it was the version 2, then it broke and I got the version 3 at a garage sale. where as it has no sound now. which kinda sucks, i play all my games and more on gametap nowadays though.
umm... pc, mac, and nes.
C&C first one,
I remember a dino game for mac, so much fun!
Mario NES, good old times.
I voted nes since I had that one first of the list but what about atari? my parents had one and it was the first system I ever played
My first game would be Super Mario Bros on the NES. Probably at around 1990 or such. I do remember also playing on the Atari we had, but I was almost always on the NES. My first PC game would be Warcraft II back in 1995. I remember I always watched my dad play it and he let me play it one day. Been hooked on Blizzard for 11 years now.
It's pretty obvious that this isn't a video game, its platforms. Besides, the first platform I've ever played is on a "PC", it appears to me this poll never heard of a PC.
Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo. This poll is awfully limited.
My first game was probably Duck Hunt on NES.
