I beleive by 'headshots' you mean 'fingershots' as it's well known that no matter what they always kill in 1 hit even if they hit your finger. Cuz MC can't live w/o his finger.

I have to admire Golden-Fist for defending Gears of War. Arthas, even though if you're a Quake 3 Arena fanatic or a player who plays Doom 3 over and over again doesn't mean you have to hate Epic Games that made Unreal and Gears of War. First off, if you actually DID buy/rent Gears of War, what was the difficulties' REAL names? Yeah that's right, I'm testing your memory here. Second of all, if you have beaten the game, name ALL of the weapons. Fourth, aside from chapters or levels, what are they really called? Or... what is the main character's name and his partner?
As I mentioned, even though ID Software's number one enemy (not literally) is Epic Games, it DOESN'T mean that you have to hate it so much that the games you like the most is simply part of the doom, quake and wolfenstein series. Why don't you point the upside? Games are usually are made for fun and being competetive with a dedicated rating of 9s and 8s when most of the time you'll say you hate it. Point the upside of the game, Gears of War is possibly easy because you played on the easiest difficuly (no way I'm giving the answer to my previous question) where you don't even have to take cover at all. Gears of War is not even a third-person shooter nor a first-person shooter, it's a second-person shooter because it takes genres from Unreal Tournament itself (weapons, gameplay) to Splinter Cell itself (While using your guns) and mastered about every single gameplay component from other games to combine it up. I would like to see "Prey 2", "Quake 5", "Doom 4" get beyond a 9.6 rating from GameSpot, if it doesn't, it doesn't prove you to hate Gears of War. The person who reviewed Gears of War was a person where the most of the GameSpot community thought he's a bad reviewer because he gave away N3 and Prey average ratings, but he manage to review a game like Gears of War a 9.6, because it's something new, innovating and that much fun.
EDIT: Oh by the way, the person who MADE Gears of War admired Halo 2 because he noticed the game first starts traveling, then driving, then walking again, then traveling, he admires the game's pace aside from walking through the entire game or using a vehicle to the entire level. In Legendary, their difficulty is more like Brothers in Arms, know why? They are suppressing fire against you, then they flank you at angle, smart AI that can take anyone out that easily. Even though you'd think the elite can't run out of ammo, he uses his left first, then his right, then his left, then right and repeats until you kill him. You will never see someone in the multiplayer mode ever doing that, even getting shot 4 times will drain your shield completely isn't in multiplayer unless it's a turret that can supress.
By the way, you didn't even reply to what Golden-Fist even said anymore, he just told you what Doom is and you're the fanboy of it who didn't know what Doom 3 110% of it, so sad.

What flame? Arthas was the one who is talking badmouth about Gears of War. I just asked him a few questions if he did had the game or not. Telling him and explaining that he shouldn't just follow one game company and go against the rest such as Halo and Unreal. I'm just proving a point that Halo 2 and Gears of War is not overrated by trying to explain him some info. I don't understand how that's flaming.

I finally had the oppurtunity to play the Warzone (4v4 Deathmatch) mode of the game with a handful of people who mock me for saying the game is hard. They think it is ridiculously easy. Thusly, I was quite happy to utterly annihlate expierenced players my first time, I can say anyone who thinks this game is easy is a baldfaced liar.

1.) Gears of War may not have the best storyline, whoopdee doo. A lot of games don't have a great storyline. It's not about the story, it's about the playablity of the game.
2.) It doesn't matter how fast you beat the game. So you can beat the game in 5 hours, does that matter? I've beaten Halo in less than a couple of hours on legendary. Does that make Halo a bad game? I've beaten Halo 2 in a few hours on legendary. So does that mean Halo 2 sucks?
3.) And my last point: If you people are BUYING THE F*CKING GAME, and saying IT SUCKS, why the HELL are you people buying it in the first place? Cummon people, be smart! Watch the trailers on t.v., you think, "Hey, that game looks pretty cool.". Next step, look up some reviews for it on the computer. Then you think either: "Wow, this game looks pretty fun, I'm gonna get it." or you think "This game looks pretty bad."
If you chose the 2nd answer, don't buy the game.

If the game only lasts a few hours it is hardly wroth 50 dollars. Additionally, blatant lying gets you no where.

The game looks great and it got wonderful reviews, but a lot of people don't like it. Reviewers lie or base their articles on hype and first impressions.

i played it at my friends yesterday 
so awesome...ya the graphics are amazing but its pretty much the same gameplay as halo the only major change being you die easier and can hide behind things/run

some games have sucky storylines but if they have live or online play they rock. Like Chromehounds for example, Chromehounds has a horrible camaign but the reviews say that the live play is awesome.
