All I hear is my harddrives seeking every once in a while =) and sometimes the pump a tiny bit, but I literally cant hear the fans.

I'm thinking about upgrading to NVidia's new offering when it comes out (with eVGA's step-up program). A faster 8xxx card than the 8800GTX is supposed to come out (I'm guessing the 89xx's). Hopefully it's a little cooler and uses a bit less power as well!

I don't think nVidia is looking to release faster cards than the 8800GTX when it's already the fastest... and it was only released recently. I'm pretty sure they are going to release budget DirectX10 cards... or at more price oriented.

they are only gonna release faster cards than 8800 if the new ATI cards beat them significantly, and then it will only be a higher clocked version made with I think 65 nm
