Yeah, it gets to the point that there is less radiated electromagnetic energy flying around in the exosphere than the troposphere.

If a source of gravity was incredibly strong, and you were at the center of it, wouldn't it pull the parts of your body farthest away from you into yourself (and crush you)?

Hypothetically yes, but whatever the source of such a gravity well would rip you to shreds via spaghettification before you could occupy the space around it with your body. The only way for the to happen is if hypothetically a black hole were to appear in your stomach.
