Lol
Yes it'll be full out. Triggs implemented. What would you like in it?

idk XD if I knew anything about java or coding for macs id try to help you out with it but i cant
no just what would you like to see in it?
Yes, I would like to order mission briefing editor, trigger editor, classic for both, brushes, string recycling, sprite and terrain palettes, and each sprite has it's own information, on whether it crashes or does anything funky. Oh, and of course I would like updates every 5 minutes
Well, you can edit tiles. We can edit tiles and anything else we want! Poor Mac users
. Good job, Ian. You have just gotten the Mac users closer to the rest of us
.
Ian if men in black suits and black sunglasses with things in their ears show up at your door. Let them in and dont move.
Lol
Falkoner
would you like to do all the sprite info?
Things I'd like to see in this (from perhaps the simplest to the most complicated):
1. SCMDraft-style unit editing, so that we can set build times in 1/15th-second increments. It'd be really nice to use a building-based control system in a Mac map without crashing all PC users or suffering an awful 1-second delay.
2. A minimap, so that we can see where we're putting our square terrain.
3. A smoother interface. Right now, for example, if I try to place a curve of tiles by clicking and dragging, it just scatters them all over the place, because the program responds slowly. This makes it impossible to create large amounts of terrain quickly. Rather, the input should be fluid, with a smooth feel and the ability to draw desired same-tile terrain configurations directly, rather than forming them tile by tile. You should also be able to continue your shapes over the side of the window by having the window automatically scroll when you drag off the side of it, thus enabling you to place a line of terrain across the whole map (to create a control area, for instance). Also, get rid of the whole "extract the .chk" thing. If I'm going to be going back and forth between your editor and others (which looks like it will be the case for the forseeable future, and quite possibly forever), I don't want to have to keep extracting and re-inserting (or whatever) every time I switch.
4. Brushes, copy-pasting, a sub-palette showing the last 20 or so tiles that were used (for easy re-selection), and automatic terrain mirroring.
5. A sub-palette window that, by looking at the pixels along the edges of the tile selected, and by looking at the pixels along the edges of other tiles, automatically detects and displays all the tiles that blend nicely with the one selected.
The program responds slowly because it is java. Java is slow. Still, there are probably ways to make it faster.
Well, just convert it to coco or carbon!
Surprisingly it wouldn't be that hard. I have the dev kit in frount of me now.
Hmmm... I'll get back to you on that
I'm looking into cocoa right now.
This is the main reason why I don't like Macs. For every Windows program you make, you have to make a separate one for Mac users. Too much trouble.
It wouldnt happen if people wrote portable code...
lol Ya.
Well I can make it open mpqs if I do cocoa.

I got this error when trying to download the file.
....
Any one have a good host that I can use for free?
chat.ru
jino-net.ru
freewebsitespace.net (has php5)
Sounds like a pretty nifty tool, I might use it, although I don't make melee maps much. I might decide to use it in some kind of RPG map. This is probably the most high tech thing you can have for melee map making. Good job.
Do you still have the online version?
It would be nice for those who, for example, want to do map making on their school computers without installing Starcraft (esp. on Windows 2000 or XP).
I'm more than willing to hook you up with some hosting for this. If you need anything besides the file in the DLDB, let me know and I'll contact you on MSN.
ok here is the link:
http://savefile.com/projects/1072014Thank you for letting me use SeN, when I have a Complete version I'll upload it here, But I want to be able to quickly upload files.
I would like to have a page for it at SeN, that would make it seem more profesional then just a download.
I changed your original post to reflect the new link and also added a mirror for it.
