They didnt crash on purpose as you seem to infer. They probaly didnt expect to crash in the first place. And they wouldnt have "let" themselves get caught, if you were in a plave crash and survived do you think you would be in any shape to stop anybody from doing whatever they wanted to.

It wouldnt be had to cover up, you have to remember this is out in the desert with a not so high population and this was in like the fifties.

Helios has a good point, if you crashed, a lot of your supplies would be damaged or destroyed. You could also be injured, so how could you stop anyone who interfered?

I'm not sure if I do believe in aliens. My whole family does. They told me that Aliens are true. They played me Videos they said they recorded. I laughed. Even today I still laught at those videos. I bet it just someone in an alien suit. But Area 51 then I don't know................

Area 51 is a top secret military base in the middle of he desert. Most new military technologies are tested there because of secrecy. No road leads there(Theres a little path that ain't on the map). Workers get there by air.

A few years ago some crazed dude wen't in there illegally and took photos proving it does exist.

Area 51, Was where they did Top Sercet Research on Alien Tech. I heard that the Steath Bomber has Alien Tech, In it. The Goverment was hiding that for only 10 years I think, Area 51 been hiding the new Spy Plane. For about 20 years. I can't remember it's on a T.V. Series I heard from. The whole alien thing at Area 51 is just ludicrous. It's just a place where the USAF tests its new planes. But, given the whole amount of secrecy surrounding the place, nobody can be too sure...

Speaking of Stargate SG-1, Helios is right. The Stargate is in Colorado. But Area 51 could be the place where they do research on the Goa'uld, the Tok'ra, and the Asgard, among the species represented in that show.


P.S.- Other stuff the government might be working on in Area 51*:

- Zerg
- Xenomorphs (secret conspiracy w/ Weyland-Yutani, perhaps?)
- Predator (w/ an emphasis towards the weapons and cloaking device)
- Wookiees (and just about every race in Star Wars that isn't either near-human or a human subspecies)

And that ends my crazy little rant. I know I'm practically condradicting myself in the first part, but that's the way it came out.

Area 51 is a government technology development outpost. They have plenty of others. They are using alien technology to help with the creation of their new stuff. The government burns nuclear and biological waste there. That causes the people to mutate and often dies. Lawsuits are being filed against area 51 by the families of those who ere mutated. The government refuses to confirm the existence of area 51.

I'm not sure if it exsistes or not. If it did they would have moved it to another place. And how to they keep retired workers there from spilling all the secrets. They have interviewd some guys that used to work there but all they said was like I saw something like and alien but it was behind a blurry glass so i wasnt clear. etc.

I think that's crap. I believe there are other living things in the universe, but not this close! That thing exists just in the movies!
