Definetly, I don't think it'd be possible, since you can't detect an actual shot. Oh and what happens if you fire at someone on high ground and miss, then you won't loose a round.
Maybe you can subtract a cetrain amount for killing certain units, like check how much times the attack hits before it dies, and subtract that amount

I'd say that's good, but what if they only have like 1 shot left, then you kill something that takes like 5 hits, you'd get some extra rounds. But o well that's the best you could do.
Good Idea
i might use the how many hits it takes before it dies idea that a good idea...
It wouldn't be hard to subtract 2 bullets for killing a unit that takes two hits, but there would be a problem. Say one player shoots it once, then the other player shoots it. The second player will lose 2 bullets for one shot and the first player won't lose any. That'll only be a big deal if you get units with like 6+ hits or so.
THen heres an idea, send each person in on their own into seperate locations, they each have a seperate task to deal with then they meet at the end to complete it where they do some team based thing, I dunno what.
sounds interesting on paper. hope you can pull it off with those stuff. and nix on teh centering locations; probably unnecessary.
1 Hit Kill
You Need To Shoot Out The Lights in some cases... witch wastes ammo
I forgot to save coppys of my map and it wont let me in
I need to restart... Good thing i wasnt that far anyway

Wut were you using, SCXE? Try opening it a few more times and try in SCMD2, I've heard of that happening before and after a while it just opens normally.

Nah im good now
I did restart but i added in better ideas and from my last experiance on the old 1 I made the tileset better
I will have sceens when i start getin my triggers down so it looks proper
More Information :
There will be sectors. At first I was jsut making a huge building but now im kinda use the "legacy of haean" idea and instead of caves i have sectors that you vision too. Makes so much better then it was

Looking forward to those screens!

It's a good thing you weren't that far into working on it.
What would you like too see more off
More lights ...
More Darkness ...
Becasue With more darkness I cant decide if i should put a fog of war layr around certain things ... but that would make it too easy...
I hope that you guys will tell me because I need to know

Use fog of war to show important spots that we need to go, just so we have some idea of the destination.
For the lights I have an idea, Whatever unit your using for lights and stuff, I think you said a spider mine. What you should do is only create it when the players have their unit there and remove it when they leave. Its more realistic that way. And don't give the humans shared vision with eachother, constantly turn it off so they can't change it. That's more realistic too.
Phat ... Exactly how big do you think i should have the location 5x5?
Good Idea ... itl Save Me Alota Trggers
5x5 seems good, the thing is spider mines have like 1 vision range, how exactly are you gonna do it?

There supposed to have a shot vision range because i dont wana put buildings in that take up the whole room...
WAIT THAT GIVES ME AN IDEA!!!!!!!
I could have different types of lights (Photon Cannon is Alarm Switch)
But I dont wana mess up the look of my map by placing all these buildings...
The Reason I only have lights for 7x7 (I changed it) is because i dont want poeple looking through walls... Hmm but most rooms are almsot 25x25 long...
That wont work...because You wouldnt see accros the room...
And what if 2 people are in the same room... who do i give lights to?
Im going to stick with my old idea ... but i will make it dark still
Just give the lights to the first person who the trigger fires for, but that'd only be good really if everyone had shared vision. WEll if you got your idea stick with it.
Make sure to post some ingame screens specially for this.
I will post some screens when I get my triggs started and I can move around in map
Shouldn't take too long

A good terrain makes maps look better even though the trigger system won't be all that great.
A good terrain with a good trigger system makes a map uber.
Make sure you take your time making the terrain and don't rush it, rushing thinhgs makes them mediocre.
Since idea but, I think 7x7 can see on top of small walls since the game might accidentaly place them on top because something is in the way.

I think they'd be preplaced, even if they're not, just create them in a small location and use the 7x7 for giving them.
