Well, the point was that the Soldiers would help you out because there would be bugs spawning too. If you dont hurry up and kill the Vines they will overtime kill the Soldiers. It was meant to be easy and then hard.

hey zell, havn't seen this map in awhile and i just thought i'd drop by to say i hope its still in production and its coming out great. hows the map coming? i hope i can help test it sometime or another. gl =)

Well, its been awhile. And I actually started working on the storyline.

ADDITION:
Well after testing it with KABOOM. I saw some issues with two players. Ima need to fix that. So far, ive been fixing up misspellings and other small stuff. Testers will recieve a version by at least the end of this week.

ZOMG its been a year since production yawn.gif

Well anyways, sorry about the big break. Ive been working out some things and added it so that if player 2 is or is not there the text will be different so like in P1 is only there everything will be "I" and "me" and when both players are there it will be "we". Ive worked fixing some of the boss triggers and balancing cause after you kill two vines the soldiers will remain alive and do all the work againts the Vine. Ive raised the Vines attack so it can actually make ur HP go down. Balanced out some stuff and yeah. Gonna need to update screenies.

Its one of my RPGs that have actually some progress. Theres some flaws in there though.

ADDITION:
Oh yeah, and I added in the Gold Triggers, I realized I never had them. The bad part is that every time you kill some1 it will show up and say you found x amount of gold.

Well atleast that will be an incentive not to own noob units the whole game, but that also means you need to put a lot of difficulty levels in your RPG as far as enemies go.

I skipped for two weeks straight before, oh I leveled a hella lot on Diablo 2 in that time happy.gif.

I will play this map tommorow on the weekend sometime, I have summatives due tomorrow so no time. I hope it turns out good biggrin.gif

Lol, skipping school just to play Diablo 2.

Well anyways, so far the gold triggers dont seem to mess up. After the first boss fight, you can get about 46 exp from killing the two vines first then letting the Soldiers kill the bugs. The third screen shot shows how much exp you get for killing it.

Well, im not working on the map again. And adding in a few days every day. Ill be updating the first post and I might redo the battle system for the time being. If I do change the battle system expect a weapon system along with it and maybe the removal of mana spells and hello to waiting spells.

Oh yeah, about the battle system. It will be the basic arena type of battle system but gas will represent the HP of the monster. Each time you kill it, depending on your weapon. The HP is decreased. Gonna have to do some other triggers to fix most of it though.

Working on the scene after the boss battle. Oh and about the new battle system, decided not to. I would have to redo the boss triggers, fix in some DCs.
