The first set of rounds (very top and bottom of bracket) will start July 3rd and last a week.

Heheh, the diagram is hypothetical. If you'll notice, the team to the left in each match always wins and advances to the next round.


I know we talked about that, but I wasn't sure if this tourney would be popular enough to get 8 teams of 3 people each. If it proves more popular, I PROMISE you'll be on our team.

27th of June to July 1st, or July 27th to August 1st? If you'll be gone June/July, then don't worry, the tournament starts after that. If its July/August, then you're not quite gone for a week. If its absolutely necessary, I can see about helping you out with special arrangements.

Team oriented tournaments never seem to end up working out, but this being 2v2 and only 8 teams, it might actually work out.

Yea, I know. The initial idea was 3v3, but that would require several groups of six people from all over the world to meet at the same time, and I know that isn't always easy.

I remember when Yoshi tried hosting the 3v3 Uberena tournament, that was so chaotic, I don't even think one game got played.

Wrong, You missed my post. People arn't born gay, it's not something written into our genes. Straight people are slightly attracted people of the same sex normally. If being gay was something you're born with then there'd be something in your DNA controlling your sexuality. Scientists have proved there isn't. Which means men screwing men or women screwing women are completely voluntary choices. My opinion is people get a little confused, and feel reason to give up their ability to coerce with the opposite sex. Their excuse? "I'm gay!" I'd love to see anyone prove that wrong, I mean I'd really LOVE it.

About clones having souls, i've read that they should have the soul identical to the original person one, but that sounds strange.

Gayness is a personality. Your personal preference/attraction to people of the same gender is a personality. I've also read many many biographies of gay teens and they all talked about how they got their first attraction to same gendered people at a very young age, just like all of us.

You can't choose your personality. But wait, some people would say that you can however develop it. What I mean by developing is that initially you start off not liking something, let's say french fries. You don't like french fries at all. However over time for some reason, whether it be you constantly have to eat them or w/e, you develop a liking for french fries, and then you declare that you like french fries.

So if you randomly select a bunch of people from random parts of the world that say that they do not like french fries (they probably really don't at the moment.) Do some sort of experiment or something with them (whether it be exposing them to more and more french fries or w/e) in the same environment and see how many of them actually begin to like french fries after a long period of time. Many of them will have their taste changed and then really do like french fries (Group A.) However, many others as well will still continue to dislike french fries (Group B.)

So the people of Group A of your experiment have changed from disliking french fries to actually liking french fries. Initially they didn't like french fries at all, because that's what their personal taste/personality was at it's current state. However, deep down inside all of those people of Group A, they did have a personality/taste in which they did actually like french fries, but the problem was that it was developed; it wasn't unleashed. However because of the experiment, or just the passing of time in their lives, their hidden personality/taste slowly began to reveal themselves.
Group B on the other hand, never had this hidden personality. Maybe a few of them needed more time, but Alot of them will never EVER like french fries for the rest of their lives.

So the point is that gayness is a personality, whether it is developed or not. To some people however, it might not be developed and is still hidden. ALOT of people on the otherhand, never had such a thing as a hidden preference over same sex people. Those people who "converted" from being straight to being gay later on in their lives probably started off with an undeveloped gay personality.

There might even be maybe a few of us here on SEN who probably have an undeveloped gay personality. We might not awaken it for another 5, 10 or 20 years. Infact it is possible that some of us will never unveal it.
But again the point is that gayness is a personality. When people "choose" to be gay, it's because they really do like people of the same gender. Nobody in their right mind would voluntarily choose to start liking people of their same gender when deep down inside they can't imagine themselves making out with them. I mean, just try it. Try liking men instead of women. You think you can do that?

1: A good source actually. Thank you for finally coming through. Bill made a couple comments about wetbacks, so what? Every one cracks a joke once in awhile. Not wrong at all. There are many minority leaders who blame literally everything on "The white man". Drugs gangs and alcohol are mahor facters. I think MA explained it quite well. However, some gay people do believe they were born gay, saying that they realised at a young age - but I guess some do find out later in their lives. I think being gay is a mixture of both born factors and the environment. Some people might have the subverted possibility of being gay, but in a way I think these characteristics are brought out later in life. Nonetheless, it's still not a choice regardless. Gay people find out about their sexuality because they ARE attracted to the same gender, not because they choose to be.

So yeah, that's what I wanted to say in response to MA's post.
