quick note: aethism has the most loving motives. (im taking this from somewhere) The know or think that god is not going to be waiting for them on the other side when they die. They know that its better if he was but its sad that he isnt. shame on the people who call aethiests dicks because even if they are right, they are ruining a belief that can seriously help people through life. They fail to see the indescribable pain that would be felt by someone who devouted their life to god, limiting their own possible experiences in life, just to to figure out there is nothing for them at the end. Wouldn't you say anything you could to someone about to face such a fate?

I realized that I will never know whats on the other side till i die. And no one else on earth will either.

I guess the biggest excuse for not being aethiest is that you can not humble yourself at all. You have to KNOW that god doesnt exist and help others out of the lies that they are living.

They did their homework on their god and dont blindly follow. Unfortunatley they feel like they know the secret of the universe, setting themselves higher then others(even if they give you some modest bs, inside they know/think they are better, I know cuz ive been there) If they only did a little more homework then they would realized their ignorance at a higher level and have the mindset to safely say,"I dont know" and "now that i think about it...no one else does either"

In my oppinion it is up to the person that is pregnant. I still think that they should go through labor and have the child. And if they can't support the child, put the child up for adoption.

How come I can no longer be forced to say the Pledge of Allegiance in a public school but I can be forced into a minute of silence? Where has the First Amendment gone? While Freedom of Speech protects my right to say certain things, shouldn't it protect my right to choose NOT to say things?

Well, I'm an Atheist because I don't believe in any gods or anything. I believe that time created humans and the earth. Time is god.

The way I see it, if somebody wants to abort their child, they obviously don't want it.

Either because they can't afford to support it, will deglect it, etc...

How do you know it will have a bad life? If it were to be adopted, the parents of the child will take care of it and it can start its own life. What is the trouble in that?

I dont really agree with abortion because it is killing something alive, they are killing babies. Not right, I mean its good for people who have made a mistake and most babies may turn into druggies due to their mothers having problems but still killing a baby before birth is stupid!

I believe Abortion needs more limitations, but not necessarily elimination. You need an absolute valid reason to have an abortion. You can't just be like "Omfg my boyfriend forgot to wear a condom and got me pregnant!" Well, once the baby is born, send it to an adoption center. And for those of you who are pro gay marriage, this'll be a very good idea since this will be a perfect opportunity for gay couples to gain kids to raise and perhaps start a family.

I'm on the fence. I've always thought that women have the right to say what should and should not happen to their bodies. Yet, I have gotten a girl pregnant that ended up aborting the baby (I never knew she was pregnant until she told me that she'd aborted a baby after being pregnant). Not that I needed another kid to worry about, but I'm sad that I'll never know what having another child could have been like. My morals and my own personal regrets have ended up giving me very mixed feelings about the whole thing...

The baby wouldn't care if it was anyone's fault, because the baby wouldn't have any thought processes, it would be the same thing as killing a germ cell, and don't tell me that you want to save every germ cell in the world.
If you don't really agree with killing living things then I suggest you don't eat anything or move a single cell on your body, it may kill a stalk of corn or destroy a dust mite.
