The biggest flaw with all conspiracy theories, is that we give the government too much credability. I mean hell, all conspiracy theories rely on one thing. The government being competent.

I saw the videos, I know what your talking about, believe me, i brought that to this site long before you. Even the pentagon windowsnext to the hole weren't broken. Hence how the boeing wings could not have smashed there. 9 feet in diameter, going 480 mph and more then a few tons.

I don't know what side to be on this matter. But know this, Kashimir:

The pentagon is the main military buildings, as you said, so it must be well-protected. I'm think that the windows are bullet-proof (if not more-proof tongue.gif ), the walls are made to hold off, or atleast minimize the damage from a truck loaded with explosives. I'm not sure about protection against biological, chemical and radioactive particles. It's possible to make it in a building, but it will cause discomfort for the people in it. (it involves pressure higher than normal pressure of atmosphere)

But I still don't know what to think about that.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Cruzo on 2006-06-27 at 11:41:22
Okay, let me say something to help you believe that the pentagon was NOT hit by a boeing 747 airliner.

How could something so big make such a little whole in the side of the pentagon. Why did people from the CIA come to eye-witness's peoples houses and tell them that a plane hit the pentagon and repeated that over and over. They also gave them money to shut up.

Where did the plane go? How is it possible that a plane was vaporized just from a kerosene fire? There is no possible way.

Agreeing with it.

This is what I mean, you negate every bit of proof me, kellimus, cruzo (even though its a bit crude), and others have shown. You completely disregarded the 14 points of facism, Noam Chomsky (who is even a professor at MIT) has no meaning to you, since he speaks and writes books on this exact subject and for the same things we speak of, and you go on and on. It it goes against your argument, you instantly assume "not government approved" must be false.

Downing street memo, katrina tapes, white house memo, and countless others. I can understand you not believing in the 9/11 thing. But its just plain ignorance that you reject what Bush is doing. Even if it wasn't an inside job, he is taking advantage of it as Hitler did. Hitler, while not a genius was an opportunist, as is George Bush.

Did you know that they are trying to prosecute the NYT reporters for publishing the evidence that Bush was spying on american citizens, on their bank accounts, and other illegal and unconstitutional spying.

Yes even if there is a "law" saying it is lawful, it has been passed by the supreme court that a citizen is not mandated to follow any law that is unconstitutional. Any law that conflicts with the constitution is not a law at all.

You only get your "evidence" from the mass-media websites. Never from independents. Your most used sources is Fox. Fox, who have employed a racist and ignorent man to speak for them. (I swear, if you even ask for proof and don't look above, I will call you an idiot.)

" Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common."

Then you have that new law passed that gets rid of net neutrality and establishes "virtual tollbooths" on the net. By giving control of the net to big business phone companies. The same companies who have already given our phone records and privacy away.

Everything is being controlled. 1984, was not a fictional book made for pleasure. Orwell clearly stated once that it was written as a warning to future generations of what is very possible if they continued on the post-world war II path.

The government lies, and people die.

You have absolutely no argument so you try to call me on my physical activities. Pathetic. Completely pathetic. If you really want to know, I've been on the baseball team for 3 years running. I play football in spare time with friends, and while I enjoy chess, I've only ever played it with my grandfather.

P.S. This is the bill demaris spoke of. I shall get more sources.

Spying on American citizens? I believe what we were doing were creating a data base of who calls who how many times, not exactly listening in on them, just recording who they are calling. I don't have a problem with the Government looking in on my money, if they do that more then theres a lot of criminals they can catch cause suddenly Mr. 20,000 a year bought a 4,000,000 dollar home in Florida....

@Hitler: Again, Bush better hurry up and take us over, he only has 2 years left. Kashmir what will you do if Bush stands down after two years and another President comes forward, exactly what I have been saying will happen. All these theories and websites and anti-Bush articles will all be wrong. Would you say sorry to me for giving so much crap cause hey, we aren't in a facism with Bush as our leader after all in 2 years.

Supreme Court Rejects Vermont Campaign Finance Law
The Supreme Court has rejected Vermont's campaign finance law that had placed the nation's tightest restrictions on campaign contributions and spending. Vermont enacted the law in 1997 to set strict limits on how much candidates could spend and how much individuals and political parties could contribute. We'll have more on this story after headlines.

Attacks Kill Dozens in 3 Iraq Cities
In Iraq today, at least three people were killed and seventeen injured in a suicide bombing on a gas station in Kiruk. The attack comes one day after at least forty people were killed and almost ninety more wounded in separate market bombings in the cities of Baquba and Hillah.

US Expels 50 Iraqis From Ramadi Homes
In other Iraq news, the New York Times is reporting US forces expelled fifty Iraqis from their homes this weekend to set up a military outpost in Ramadi. The Iraqis were sent into the streets carrying their food and clothing. The US is currently in the midst of a major operation in Ramadi that has already led to the expulsion of thousands of people.

Report: Military Equipment Costs To Triple
Meanwhile the Associated Press is reporting the annual cost of maintaining military equipment in Iraq and Afghanistan is expected to triple next year to more than seventeen billion dollars. Some estimates now put war costs over the last five years at almost half a trillion dollars.

Poll: US Split on Withdrawal Timetable
A new poll shows Americans are nearly evenly split on setting a deadline for the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. According to the Washington Post and ABC News, the number of Americans favoring a timetable has grown eight points to forty-seven percent. Fifty-one percent oppose setting a deadline. Speaking at the White House, President Bush was asked about troop withdrawal on Monday.

    * President Bush: "In terms of our troop presence there, that decision will be made by General Casey, as well as the sovereign government of Iraq, based upon conditions on the ground. And one of the things that General Casey assured me of is that, whatever recommendation he makes, it will be aimed toward achieving victory. And that's what we want. "

Israel Prepares For Gaza Incursion
The Israeli army has deployed a large contingent to the border with the Gaza Strip in preparation for a major offensive over a kidnapped soldier. Corporal Gilad Shalit was abducted Sunday in a Palestinian operation that left two Israeli soldiers and two Palestinians dead. On Monday, Palestinian groups offered to lead Israel to Corporal Shalit in return for the release of all Palestinian females and youths under the age of eighteen in Israeli prisons. Israel has rejected the demand and says it will target Hamas leaders if the soldier is not freed.

    * Israel's ambassador to the UN Danny Gilerman: "Israel has made it very very clear that it holds the Hamas, the terror organisation, responsible for the life of this soldier who we know is alive, and holds (Palestinian) President Mahmoud Abbas responsible for his safe return. Israel will do everything in its power to protect its people, Israel regards this incident very gravely and will make sure that the international community and the Palestinian Authority will do everything as quick as possible to make sure that this soldier is returned to his family safely."

Meanwhile, Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Naser Al-Shaer made an appeal to the kidnappers.

    * Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Naser Al-Shaer: "We urge to keep the Israeli soldier safe because we don't want to give the Israeli army any excuses for escalation. This is why we ask to keep him safe and ask the international community to help our people in the Gaza Strip."

Supreme Court To Rule On Challenge To Bush C02 Stance
Back in the United States, the Supreme Court agreed Monday to rule on whether the Bush administration must regulate emissions of carbon dioxide to stop global warming. A group of US states, cities and environmental groups filed suit three years ago to challenge the Environmental Protection Agency's insistence it is not required to curb CO2 under the Clean Air Act. Bush said he supported regulation during his first presidential campaign but later reversed his position after coming into office.

Bush: US Should "Get Beyond" Global Warming "Debate"
Meanwhile, President Bush said Monday he believes global warming is a serious problem but urged Americans to: "get beyond the debate" over whether it is caused by human activity. His comments came just days after the National Academy of Sciences released a study showing recent surges in global temperatures are unprecedented for at least the last 400 years and potentially the last several millennia. The study concludes: "human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming."

University of Colorado To Fire Professor Ward Churchill
In education news, the University of Colorado announced Tuesday it wants to fire ethnic studies professor Ward Churchill. Churchill became the center of a debate over free speech and academic freedom last year over controversial comments he made on the 9/11 attacks. The University of Colorado has come under intense pressure to fire Churchill from figures including state governor Bill Owens and Fox News host Bill O'Reilly. The University says it's firing Churchill after a committee concluded he committed research misconduct and plagiarism in his writings on Native American history. Churchill has vigorously denied the charges and maintains he is being punished for his outspoken views. He will have ten days to appeal the university's decision. This news comes on the heels of last month's announcement by Yale University it will not to hire prominent University of Michigan history professor Juan Cole. The decision followed a barrage of lobbying and criticism from right-wing commentators over Cole's views on the Iraq war, Israel and the state of the Middle East.

Pentagon Admits To New Spying of Student Groups
The list of activist groups monitored under a secret Pentagon program is growing. The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network says the Defense Department has admitted to spying on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and anti-war protests at several universities: the State University of New York at Albany, William Paterson University in New Jersey, Southern Connecticut State University and the University of California at Berkeley. De-classified documents show the government intercepted the students' e-mails and planted undercover agents at at least one protest. The government also refused to confirm or deny whether it had spied on activists in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community. The disclosure marks the latest case of known government spying under a secret domestic intelligence program, which has also targeted the Quaker movement and other anti-war groups.

Ex-CIA Officer: Bush Admin Ignored "Curveball" Warnings
A veteran CIA officer has revealed new details of how the Bush administration built the case for invading Iraq. In an interview with the Washington Post, former CIA officer Tyler Drumheller said he repeatedly warned administration officials over the discredited Iraqi source known as "Curveball." "Curveball" is the Iraqi expatriate whose claims were used to help build the case Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction. Drumheller says he personally removed the paragraph from a draft of Colin Powell's United Nations speech that claimed Iraq had mobile biological weapons laboratories. But Bush administration officials intervened, and Powell delivered the speech with the bio-lab claim intact.

Military: Latin American Nationalism Threatens Oil Supplies
The Financial Times is reporting an internal US military study has warned that future oil supplies are at risk because of the spread of "resource nationalism" in Latin America. Both Bolivia and Ecuador have recently taken steps to nationalize oil fields, while Venezuela has raised taxes on foreign oil production. In the report, analysts with the US Southern Command say re-emerging state control over energy will "increase inefficiencies and... hamper efforts to increase long-term supplies and production." The report also warns oil production in Mexico is at risk because of state restrictions on foreign investment. The military concludes: "Pending any favorable changes to the investment climate, the prospects for long-term energy production in Venezuela, Ecuador and Mexico are currently at risk."

25 Arrested At Anti-Gitmo Protest
And here in New York, dozens of people gathered outside the UN Monday to call for the closure of the US prison at Guantanamo Bay. The rally was held to mark the United Nations Day for Victims of Torture. The protesters dressed in orange jumpsuits and marched behind a cage on wheels. Twenty-five people were arrested, including the peace activist Father Daniel Berrigan. Three of the arrested protesters gave their names as those of the Guantanamo prisoners who committed suicide earlier this month.

Abortion sucks (no pun intended.. that was sick nono.gif ) but sometimes it needs to be done. My brother's wife got an abortion with his child without him even knowing at the time because they just couldn't support the child at the time. Some of you may suggest they put the child up for adoption, but that can hurt even more; you're giving up your child. Abortion is wrong when you're out having casual sex all the time and happen to get pregant one time and so get an abortion because you dont want a child at the time. But lets say you have sex with your boyfriend and get pregnant at 16 years old. It may not be that you dont want the child, but you just cant have the child.

If you cant have it then send it to an orphange or something.

If something isnt human because it depends on something else

ex. a fetus,

then what about people hooked up to those kidney machines because of kidney failures? Can we kill them too?

if its not human because its less developed than us, what about someone with down syndrome? Their less developed. Why dont we kill all of them too?

If we're gonna kill it because it wont have a good life, or we cant support it, do what i said earlier give it up for adoption. Reasonable reasons why you shouldnt have an abortion, why a fetus is indeed human. Take what you want from this post.

ADDITION: I forgot to mention, most girls who get abortions feel the guilt long after, if you get an abortion theres a chance that the doctor will screw up and geuss what? When you want a child, YOU CANT HAVE ONE!

I dont really agree with abortion because it is killing something alive, they are killing babies. Not right, I mean its good for people who have made a mistake and most babies may turn into druggies due to their mothers having problems but still killing a baby before birth is stupid!

We already stated that its not yet alive.
Also, MA the absolute valid reason your looking for is: "Because she wants to." Its her body, who are you, me, or anyone else to say what she can or can't do with her own body. If she wants, she can have an abortion. No law can stop that. Back when abortion was banned a while back, they had DIY abortion. People who were willing to do it for you for free.

Do you believe in GOD?

This may be a very touchy subject for some, but as most people on SEN are young, there is really no way someone could be offended from this question.  I was just wondering what discussions could come up on this, because I believe in Evolution, and just wanted to here other people takes on it.  I believe in Evolution because I look at the facts of science and I dont believe myths.

Another view on it.  If people say GOD saves us.  Where the hell was god when the World Trade Centers were ran into, where is he when the war is going on in Iraq, and any other big issue in the world.  Then some people say that god protects us.  Well last Hurricane Season was a bad one and I dont think he is doing a great job of protection.

Just wanted to see others points of view!

First of all, myth? wtf is wrong with you? Myths are some made up story by some random person to scare or give some insperation hope to someone. There is physical evidence that the Bible is true, they've found a lot of artifacts described the Bible.

Second, there are a lot of facts of science that can prove the Bible is true. I cant remember them why? Because im not a perfect christian who cares a lot about the subject, i believe what i want and you should all respect that.

Third, God does not save the living. God does not judge the living. HE JUDGES THE DEAD (their souls). Although he may answer prayers, he isnt always going to, why? Its God, he can do whatever he wants. Judgement does not happen here on earth. it happens at the gates of heaven where if you are christian and have prayed for forgiveness for all your sins, you get to spend eternity in heaven, and if you dont, to hell you go! It's our job to protect ourselves in the world. Its all your faults for making the world such a crappy place.

Adam and eve were not brother and sister. Get your facts straight.

Noah's 3 sons brought their girlfriends along, they did not have sex within their family.

Faith needs fact to be concrete and stable. Without fact, faith will die.

Finally thats where your wrong. God will not forgive you unless you ask for it. Infact the only unforgivable sin is refusing to ask for forgiveness (thats if you die and dont ask for your forgiveness before your die)

No, you're just making a wildly inaccurate comparison. The embryo/fetus develops in the woman's body. She has a direct biological link to it. It's within the domain of her body, and as such she should be free to do with the fetus what she wants. A man with a dialysis machine is simply being aided by a non-living object.

Therefore the real question is would you rather have nothing, or have a child with a lower quality life sent to an orphanage? Who the heck said that something isn't human because it depends on something else? No one in this whole topic used that reasoning. That basically owns your whole argument.
