I'm on the fence with this too. I do believe that it is basically killing someone, but in the case of rape, it wasn't consented. I think that it's wrong, but it's the person's choice, and I think that religion shouldn't play a part in the law.

But, if you don't want to reach it, I'd suggest NOT posting this in SERIOUS DISCUSSION. Also, please don't giant size your entire post and write in a less angry tone. SEN has high standards and may not be the right website for you.

I believe that it depends on the situation. If the baby was going to kill the mother, I believe abortion is fine. If the mother wants an abortion because of the gender, then I think it's wrong.

Abortion is wrong, but it shouldn't leave society, or as the topic starter stated, she's kill the baby inhumanely and she'll harm herself. Its true they use those...and coat hangers...etc. They should have the baby, period, but if they don't...abortion should be regulated.

Aparently the North Koreans are preparing to launch a long range missle that is capable of reaching anywhere within 4300km of N. Korea. They have been testing the launch pad componants and have moved a missile to the pad and it is possible they could launch it tomorrow or monday.
Thoughts anyone?

I believe its just a test missile. But if this one works then that means the others they have can hit the US. I think they are just trying to test their limits, I mean we didn't stop them from getting a nuclear bomb....
If they are actually going to test the missile I think the US or some other country should just fire a tomahawk missile at them and destroy the launch pad/test missile. (if all else fails that is, last minute resource)

What if it isn't a test. What if they are ready to launch tomorrow or some other day. It can reach the U.S. and if they really don't like us that much. Now is the perfect oppurtunity to take us out.
I'm guessing we have no idea what kind of missile it is or anything, but it can be some kind of atomic warfare. They can take us out with the snap of a finger.
