KLEINMOND, South Africa - A South African inventor unveiled a new anti-rape female condom on Wednesday that hooks onto an attacker’s penis and aims to cut one of the highest rates of sexual assault in the world.
But still the rapist isnt that stupid to release that so 50% are gona fall for the trap while the others will avoid it.
QUOTE
Ehlers said the “rapex” hooks onto the rapist’s skin, allowing the victim time to escape and helping to identify perpetrators.
Nah cause a fact is that during the rape scene the rapist useally holds then the woman somehow either with rope or bindages. Same thing I said about how rapex hooks on in the above post.

“He will obviously be too pre-occupied at this stage,” Ehlers told reporters in Kleinmond, a small village about 60 miles east of Cape Town. “I promise you he is going to be too sore. He will go straight to hospital.”
But why cape town? In other countrys some people go so far to either remove themselves or illegaly. Plus what about fraud cases? I have feeling that this could be turned against its sole use.
QUOTE
The device, made of latex and held firm by shafts of sharp barbs, can only be removed from the man through surgery which will alert hospital staff, and ultimately, the police, she said.
Latex. LATEX! There are people allergic to that material. So rather then protection it will absorb them from the inside. Also those who are febile might hurt themselves and even them EMO's might get to it.

South Africa has more people with HIV/AIDS than any other country, with one in nine of its 45 million population infected.
But that comes from there unmoral practices. To cut down on detail here there culture requires that at a "VERY" young age you get married to a 20 year old male at the age of 10-13. And they also sleep with each other and diseases spread. But for the rape part when te young teenager chooses to "concide" and the cheif discovers she pregnant they put them in a small shed to be eaten by wild animals.
(Sorry the reason why I know this is that I watched the Oprah show

)
But still that culture contridicts itself. Weird eh?
QUOTE
“If a victim is wearing such a device it may enrage the attacker further and possibly result in more harm being caused,” said Sam Waterhouse, advocacy coordinator for Rape Crisis.
As I said the rapist will know something is going on so dont really fall for such a trap. Another falt or flaw in this "rapex" is that people might find it as toys or pranks such as in locker rooms a guy might put it in someone elses pants and then as they say "the only way to remove it is to go to a hospital" and alah people will suspect your a rapist when you didnt do anything so a flaw is caught there or any other "bad" pranks that may be soon to come. (Sorry I just like making conclusions
