I highly doubt this conflict will escalate beyond a regional scale; I certainly don't see US troops fighting in this. I think it will just stay a local conflict, like the rest of the wars Israel has had with its neighbors.

I felt I should introduce myself before I head off to make my first real post, so here I am. I'm reiyo_oki, I tend to play on both USEast and USWest (usually more on East), and I focus on UMS maps. My current project is a revamped/rebalanced golems map (You might have seen it, actually... But I'll leave it as a surprise for my next post.) Got it almost perfect, except for one or two bugs that just don't seem to want to be fixed. You may recognize me if you play any D2 mods (I'm a modder for d2 as well as a mapper), particularly Eastern Sun.

I doubt this situation will lead to WW3. Israel had many wars with it's neighbors. The situation will probably lead to air and missile strikes, but not more, I think.
And as almost always, the innocent civilans are the "money", exchanged in the conflict.

I don't see how Asia countries would be affected by that conflict, remember a world war has to have basically one person from each continent. And that doesn't seem like it would become a WORLD WAR, maybe a decently sized war but not envolving the entire world.

Well, not many. I had a campaign for StarCraft 2 (after BroodWar). It had 30 maps. But I deleted all because I thought about better history, and I'm remaking it. I'm actually in 3 projects: Resident Evil: Unknown Survivors Edcape (Shooter, Survive, Tags), Campaign: "The End of Times", his trailer, and this last map is for multiplayer game on BNet: Hit The Blinded Man. I'm testing it with some friends, from my Clan. I will soon post it in Map Showcase 
I'm like 4 years in map Making, but 3 of those years I had not Internet. Those all awesome editors I could see in my first contact with BNet left me O_O. I understood I was only a newbie in map making. But I could learn most of trigger making and now I have some experience.

I don't think South Americans participated in WWI or WWII... doubt Antarcticans did either

You know, since World War I started with two different continents. The U.S. had near minimal interference with World War I. The most the U.S. did was participate in a few battles and give supplies.

World War III? No, I don't see more than 2 major world powers getting involved in this, and they would be on the same side. The worst that could happen is a huge war in the Middle East, but a World War? No.
A lot of South Americans fought in the World Wars. Brazil was a significant part in the Italy campaign in WW2.

This whole deal with Isreal and Lebanon is bullcrap. It's only going to be a matter of time before the US sends a large amount of soldiers into Lebanon to help the Isrealis(sp). There's no doubt that the US is going to get involved. And once that happens, it's a full fledged war and will only cause much more of the world to get involved/not like the US.
This also makes thoughts of a draft pop into my head. It kind of worries me becaue I'm at that age now... I turn 18 on the first day of next year. The prime age for a draftee. I hope that never happens.
