We've had like 5 or 6 websites in the past. And we've gotten rid of them within a few months of their creation. You aren't suggesting anything new at all.
And frankly, if I had to choose between going to an Oo forum on an Oo website or coming to Oo's forum here, I'd choose the one here. There are more people here and we get better recognition here. Simple as that.

i was working hard to get up but slayer moved up there just by being in clan? hey im in clan also for almost a year! i should get credit for that! what if i get promoted from 5th class to 1st in a year? would that be a record?

Wow when did that change? When i was Co-Leader, you had to be a GM and up to recruit. Or you could purchase the "recruitment badge" for like 1000 Oo points.

I got promoted from 5th class to Officer in a day (in fact the rank "Officer" was created by Solar for me specifically). Then Officer to GM in a month. Then from GM to Co-Leader in another month. Then I resigned and created the almighty DEVLIN CLASS. 
I believe that is the current record.
SlayeR has made a ton of good maps, and he's been loyal. If we want to bring in how long people have been in the clan, you've both been in Oo since April of this year (which I might add is about 4 months away from a full year in Oo). But didn't you also leave Oo for that Tp) clan?

Apparently, no one realizes that SOLAR does infact, "own" or rather moderate as in he is lord over the channel Clan Oo and the only one over him is Blizzard staff. Therefore, he can do whatever he wants for as long as he wants and whenever he wants concerning any moderations/disciplines over the channel he is responsible for directed to him by Blizzard.
Any further dicussion about the matter, like previously said by a different poster is simply a "fuel on the fire" and should not be tolerated. Such actions should be taken up by the leaders of both clans and should be negotiated to a consent state between both parties.
Personally, I believe this situation is riduculous. While SOLAR has every right to do what he wants a thorn is being hammered into the side of the living force of map making.
A clan is a structured body, consistent of a leader usually more experienced or well-respected more then any other member. Other then that, all map makers are essentially the same. The only difference is the level of experience, which tag they choose, and their reputation.
In no way, shape, or form do I understand the concept of SOLAR's reasoning in this situation. The analogy of Wendys and Mcdonalds is a comical illustration, but the foundation is not consistent with what is reality. My result is a reversed conclusion that should be considered.
To my understanding, SOLAR believes having people in his channel is an indirect correllation with the popularity of the clan. However, reducing the activity of your channel will limit certain people to join on a regular basis and communicate with your members and in the end, build relationships with them.
Clans are based on relationships, people join clans based on relationships more then on skill. If there is no relationships in either clans, then reputation is the dominating factor. If SOLAR limits (U) members from entering his channel, he is preventing any relationship building between them and his members. In essence, virtually no (U) member will ever 'clan hop' over to Oo simply based on relationships. (an exception would be a bitter relationships)
Another case, Silent, consideres himself 'loyal'. There is nothing you can do about people like this, except - increase your channel activity as much as possible to spark an interest in new recruits and build relationships before another clan. Obviously Clan Oo has 5 stars in this category of channel activity. (or at least did - effort wise)
My personal opinion is to let (U) members join the channel Clan Oo, this builds relationships and increases map activity as map makers grow ideas off each other. Nothing bad can come from increasing your channel activity to your maximum potential. Limit alien members from Clan Oo activities, such as, meleeing, or playing a UMS map. If your channel gets full, then start selecting 'other' clan members and ban them based on inactivity from the channel. Simple as that.

I'm against it. I think sc should be a free place and oo is a cool place to be. I don't think the reason is valid in this matter but solar is the leader.

Well from what I read SOLAR has issues with Red and taking it out on (U)

I would just like to say that when I went to clan Oo one day I came in in the middle of SOLAR yelling, not talking yelling, at Red and I left the channel insantly and tryed to figure out wat happened...but of course im not in any clan so I cant really get any info.
Well if this feud keeps going on I might just bag joining any clan...for if this happens in one clan then it might happen in all the clans...
Im a real big fan of non-violence, and to me SOLAR is being violent to clan (U), maybe not physically but verbally....

he made the required amount of maps thats all you have to do.. Many people have made like.. 30-40 maps in ytear time.. Slayer made it with his 8 or 7 and he deserves it. Agent you are getting there.

This was a totaly un-educated rant. SlayeR acctualy did something for the time he spent here unlike you. make some maps then come back and talk. lol nice record. I got Gm in way less than a year.
