If world war three erupts, I seriously doubt it's going to be over the current situation right now between Israel and Lebanon. You would literally have to get the whole world up on it's feet if we're asking for WWIII.

Besides, during the Cold War, we almost went into WWIII with things like the Cuban Missile Crisis. That situation was much worse than the one right now.

What I'm most worried about when it comes to Global Warming isn't the fact that the ocean level and temperature would rise dramatically, but mostly the impact that this'll have on our weather. In the future, we're probably going to face more and more hurricane Katrina-like disasters, if not worse ones.

Yes, I played music with a really famous(down south, at least) blues musician named Super Chikan. I was on drums, he was singing and playing keyboards.

Also, I've had dinner with Frank Caliendo(Comedian. One of the fatter guys on the newer MadTV's. He does alot of the voice impressions, like John Madden, and most of the "commentators" in some skits.) and his family.

Have you ever.. stuck something up your butt because you were curious?

By that simple logic, we should ban Fire extinguishers...

When you take my logic that way, you should ban carbonated beverages too. Fire extinguishers use existing CO2. They don't produce CO2. Just like soda.

I'm more worried about what we are doing to ourselves at present moment then to worry about what will happen to us in a couple of centuries. The fact we can't seem to co-exist really questions how we're going to battle such a large issue as global warming.

Like I said before, the rising oceans would displace hundreds of millions and cause a refugee disaster. Not to mention more and bigger hurricanes.

We don't need to take such drastic steps just yet. If America would ratify the Kyoto Accord (?) and take steps to reduce emissions such as requiring trougher fuel efficiency standards on cars, we would be on the road to recovery. The US has far lower efficiency standards than dozens of other nations. US cars can't sell in China because they don't get good enough fuel economy.

What about the Iraqi people dying too?

Baghdad's central morgue handles 1,500 bodies a month, mainly with gunshot wounds to the head.
In the rest of the country, more people are being killed (it's mainly sectarian violence).

I read a report yesterday of how fake checkpoints were set up by Shia militiamen last week. They dragged people out of their cars and shot them if they had Sunni names on their ID card.
