Perhaps he gave a little more money to alternative energy, but he has made no real steps to greatly improve fuel economy standards, nor has he ratified the Kyoto Accord on emissions. Our greatest amount of oil consumption comes from gasoline usage, and nobody can say that the Bush administration has really done anything to further better fuel economy in cars.

This is more complicated that it seems DT. If your running a successful car company, but your company is not quite ready (as in money) to design a car (huge proccess by the way) thats more fuel effecient, I don't think you should be FORCED by the government to make a better car. Lets face it, anything Bush does, good or bad, will piss off a lot of people...
Our current Government shouldn't force car companies to do their bidding.
