Again this is true and sure I live my life but I don't act as if I would have known how to react in such a situation and I'm never making fun of such happenings. Not in a thousand years.
And actually not everyone dies for a stupid reason, not everyone dies in a war or 'terrorist' act or car crash.
Actually not the DEATH is the problem but the obviously crappy reason is!

Echo- Please stop using the soul argument without any proof-- many of the people who visit SEN, myself included, don't beleive in souls, thus, your arugment is completly meaningless. Unless you can present us with concrete evidence of the human soul, then I suggest you find a new argument.

Cloning? It's wierd but could be cool like you can clone your grandfather or clone your dead pet. But if you live in canada theres a T.V show about a clone named carl2 . I watched one episode and barfed

Well, most people have a highly complex organ within their head called a brain. All of the things you've said are just highly evolved insticts. The same as animals have, as humans are animals. Instincts are controlled by your mind. Not all animals are the same, that is being close minded.

Volume (amplitude) is insigificant unless it changes the frequency. If the person can't hear that frequency, they just can't hear it.

No, echo, we arn't being close minded, and as syphon said, we do have brains. Conciousness is an extremly complex series of chemical reactions and electrical signals occuring in the brain. Your argument that we need a soul to do what our brains already accomplish is nonsensical.
Also, you have made the statement that humans are unique in our conciousness. This is incorrect, research has shown that dolphins are self aware, and that they communicate with eachother. It has even shown that dolphins are aware of others, and that specific dolphins in a pod have "names" or series of sounds, that identify them and only them, and the other members of the pod know these names. To me, this seems like the result of conciousness, not pure instinct-- there is no REAL conciousness barrier between humans and highly intelligent animals. So please, check your facts before you post.
