Lots of people played ladder, and many who didn't had records on ladder.

You also forgot to mention that upon pressing the "join" button it auto-selects the first game on the list.

Now DoA's going to have to find all kinds of new offsets for FG... Grr...

The patch is a welcome one in my book, slightly annoying, but welcome none the less. Oh yes! Before I forget, I was testing triggers out and you cannot have any more than 5 burrowed or stacked units on top of each other in the same location via trigger creation.

A good example:
QUOTE(Trigger Conditions)
- Always
QUOTE(Trigger Actions)
Create 5 lurkers for current player at location 0. Apply properties (burrowed)

The five lurkers stacked on each other will be made with no problems.

A bad example:
QUOTE(Trigger Conditions)
- Always
QUOTE(Trigger Actions)
Create 6 lurkers for current player at location 0. Apply properties (burrowed)

The five lurkers stacked on each other will be made with no problems however the sixth one will be unplaceable.

It doesn't select any game for me.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Killer_Kow(MM) on 2006-08-01 at 08:22:01
Strange.. It selects the first game on the list for me.

I'll go test it again.

ADD: I was mislead, I apologize. The reason it always selected the first map for me was due solely due to the fact that I had not yet joined a game.

ADD: Also, this broke the CD Crack that I don't remember having. I need to use my CD now sad.gif

Hey that sucks. There was a nice timer system based on stacked burrowed units. I wonder why is this taken out? ermm.gif

I don't know if it was already mentioned or not but the "black" on the map name is actually a blue/red thing on my Mac or a bright blue in other cases. Here's a screen shot of what I mean:

EDIT:
And the WWWWWWD is after the invisible character (I didn't lap it with tabs).

I also noticed that Blizzard gave us a few new melee maps:
  • (2)Bottleneck
  • (2)Boxer
  • (4)Nightmare Station
  • (8)Jungle Rumble
  • (8)River Runs Through It

I play blizzard's melee maps, I think they are well made. Anyway back to topic, the new maps are pretty interesting to play on especially Jungle Rumble.

On topic: please explain what do you mean

Low standards? There are hundreds of people who were comitted to asylums after the sheer horror of the Egg Song gnawed at their soul, driving them to insanity!!!!! tongue.gif

And another note, I do believe, if I'm not dreadfully mistaken, this new patch screws up mac editors, making it so you cannot save maps properly.

You can save maps...they just don't end up in the folder where you thought they'd end up. At least, that's what happened when I tested StarFire Edit...

I kind of like the allied colors in the in-game screen. I don't care that they removed latter.
