The reason Ants exist is to eat up the dead things on the ground, kinda like mother nature's "janitors"... the maggots and other bugs like that have the same purpose.

Umm... How can you know that that is there sole purpose, they have many purposes. Actually this borders on the question of "what is the purpose of life". Which, to the best of my knowledge is unanswerable.
