it was only 1 2 player map. So trccs and nonames maps had slimmer chances.
In the End, there were like 20 maps that could have made the mappack and I would have been happy. It happened to be these 6, it's pretty obvious that you need some luck for your map to make it. There was no other solid semi-island map, so my map mars attacks did not have much competition. trcc on the other hand had 3 really nice 1on1 maps, not one made it in the end. That's life.
@ihatett: lol. We are not 13 years old any more ok? Why should we vote maps in that did not deserve it?
ADDITION:
zerg can 3 hatch expo. On some LT positions it's the same, or on gaema(gaema is imbalanced though), or on plains to hill etc.
the 3 hatch expo is quite easy to defend due to the long distance, so it's clearly better than gaema. Most zerg probably would not chose this map as homemap, but clever protoss would never chose LT as homemap, 100% balanced is almost impossible and if all maps were, it would be boring.
ADDITION:
looking at the map again, on the top positions it will be not that easy to have enough sunkens everywhere.
Here the maps that made it to round 2. 27 Maps all together. I don't have the link to the complete 63 mappack, but most of them could not be considered anyway. So you can see how many good maps were i it yourself.
