Thanks chu, for totally ignoring my request, and ignoring my response to your question. There's another complaint to add to the list.

He has.

Coming from someone who doesn't visit the melee forum on any regular basis, that's phenomenally rude.

Please tell me where you're able to see who views what. Besides being too critical of us, I think you're very cool and smart Psycho. You need to chill out a bit.

Well... a couple 10+ page flame fests doesn't exactly shout moderation. But whatever, as long as I have attachment space, I don't need to complain, that was just the topic of this thread.

EDIT: 10+ is an exaggeration, there's only one topic like that. But still, entire pages of worthless flame is pretty bad.

I told you what your warn levels were for, thats all I see the need to do in this situation. I'm not about to do more work here because others were too lazy to. And I pointed out that Entropy has used his moderation powers to do some stuff at the melee forums, I never said he was active or even implied it.

Rude? Rude is telling someone what they do and do not do when you have no idea how things really are. You are being more rude than I am right now. And the only reason I can be considered rude is by ignoring your request, which I still don't see the need to satisfy. If you want to find out where you got all those warn levels ups, ask Kame.

Yoshi hid your own warn levels... I still think doing so was a mistake.
I agree. Fortanatly I've never been warned, banned, kicked, etc ever.
Well, I think I was kicked from op sen once or twice. But they were kicking everyone to get their bot on top or something. *cough moose*

She wouldn't know, she didn't post the links, remember (EDIT: I was interested in why my warn was lowered, and what the offenses were ie: the posts)? Maybe it's because I had a terrible first impression of you chu, but you're not coming off as polite at all.

Let me tell you what I've seen Entropy do so far in the melee forums:

After I reported puni for stealing several pro maps, he told me that puni was shooting himself in the foot and that there was no need to punish him, the community would shun him anyway. They didn't.

He made two posts in "Is there a way to popularise melee" along the lines of, keep fighting if you want, but realise it's pointless".

I've got one last question, not aimed at anyone in particular, not trying to be insulting. Why don't you guys ever just delete posts? Or do you do it so fast I just don't notice? Often when I read through topics that mods have participated, I still see usless spam and falsity in posts.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MillenniumArmy on 2005-06-22 at 11:41:56
I also agree that we need more competent moderators for the melee forums. Entropy is good, but he's not active enough.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2005-06-22 at 11:46:19
We do it so fast you don't notice. smile.gif Sometimes people actually notice and start complaining. "OMG WHY U DELETE MY POST" and my reply? "OMG WHY U SPAM?"

I don't delete posts that have been replied to unless they noticeably take away from the entire thread. Like if there are 8 or more posts completely off topic and unrelated.

But anyway, I believe you with Entropy, I just wanted to make it known that he has done something, and I saw him do a couple things recently (like past week). If you take note:

Last time I checked, Gloabl mods can receive reports from all forums. Or does the fact the global moderation is your secondary mask affect that? Stupid invision..
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2005-06-22 at 13:26:36
I think it does, I only receive reports from forums im listed on.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by BeeR_KeG on 2005-06-22 at 14:33:10
Reporting goes to the person who has his/her name in the forum and is online.
If he/she isn't online then it goes to a Global Mod. If no Global Mod is online then I think it randomly chooses someone.

But what I'm sure about is that it'll give reporting preference to people who have their names on the forum beore the Global Mods.

I think thats the way it works, but I'm not quite sure.
All I can tell is that I rarely get any Reports, I think I've gotten only 5 reports since December.

<<-Administration->>
Yoshi Da Sniper -- He's a good friend...but way too nice to certain members.
isolatedpurity -- He's a good person and he catches a lot of crap for taking over SEN for a few weeks. Ironically, now that Yosh is back, he gets respect. Imagine that.

Global Moderators
Clokr_ -- Good in bed tongue.gif
(U)Bolt_Head -- Intelligent
Mini Moose 2707 -- Very helpful
BeeR_KeG -- Does my job for me sometimes (sorry 'bout that...again)
chuiu_os -- A little too tolerant, but very funny and sarcastic
DLDB Keepers
BeeR_KeG -- same as above
chuiu_os -- same as above
DT_Battlekruser --personally, I don't know him that well, but apparently he's been catching crap for being a "n00b." don't know what that's about
Entropy -- Never really met him
High -- Pretended to be me, I'll sic him eventually. tongue.gif
Tutorial Keepers
LegacyWeapon -- Neh. I don't do tutorials, so I couldn't tell ya.

I never get reports for outside of the forums my name is on. It goes to the people in charge of the forum, regardless of whether or not they are online.

So the name-plastering isn't just ego..

Hmm. so while we're reviewing staff and mods, am I a mod, or am I just a super cool person who watches the Serious Discussion forum?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by RexyRex on 2005-06-23 at 01:58:48
A bit of both.

The only person I have a problem with is Chu.
He's such a dummy face head.

(Kidding, that text was there for lack of a better post)

Dummy face head ... honestly. You need to work on your material, woman.

ADDITION:
I found a bug! Attachments don't work in quotes!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2005-06-23 at 02:09:24
That's been known, I think it's the addition of id in the name or something...

Yup. I just tested it. Remove "id" in the attachmentid and it works. smile.gif

I think all mods do there job as well as it should be done. There fast to react to when a problem starts and solve it.

Maybe someone should make this a sticky.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-06-25 at 16:28:36
Why on earth would that be needed? It isn't as if this topic is being ignored or anything like that.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by BeeR_KeG on 2005-06-25 at 16:34:32
Sticky topics in this forum are for important site related information that must be read. It's basically important issues that the Admins//Staff need to inform to the public.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-06-25 at 16:35:36
Too many sticky topics in a forum look really ugly, so we try to keep them to a minimum. Sometimes I swear there are too many as it is...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MillenniumArmy on 2005-06-25 at 20:20:52
Stickies should be over something useful or informative. This thread is nothing but exuberances over what the staff members have done.
