Staredit Network -> Serious Discussion -> Bush, or Clinton?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Snipe on 2005-07-19 at 16:57:25
I see this really wasn't a think about Poll. Not many people like what Bush did in office so for and wil be doing. I think Clinton did better stuff when he was in office but made some mistakes as well. He isn't perfect but i think hes much better than Bush. I would like it if any 1 took over bushs position but..you know i can't make that choice.

You guys don't know how much pressure is put on our presidents. Seriously, think about it, invade Iraq and get countries to hate you, or not invade Iraq and get your own citizens to hate you for not doing something (I don't care either way, really)

Lay off flaming bush for a while, start flaming the president of.. um.. Mexico for letting his citizens cross our border without passports and make drug deals or whatever they do.

I just barely got back on the forum and haven't been following this, but it was a dumb thing to put Bush up agianst Clinton anyways.

Clinton would win with tons of votes.

Where did you come up with that? If we didn't invade them, we wouldn't have givin a poo.gif . We only invaded to get Saddam out of power because he was a "threat" to us (Not saying he wasn't but at the time, he wasn't)

Bush is a great president. Everyone hates him for the wrong reasons though, meh. There are people who have more power then him in the White House. Those are the people who can kick him out of office.

I'd argue that people like Bush for wrong reasons, as well.

Lol. You don't know anything about how the American "Democracy" is made up, do you?

First off, the people with more power to kick him out, aren't in the White House. He is the most powerfull person in the White House. The people who can kick him out are our Legislative Branch and Judicial Branch.

Our government is split into three branches. The Legislative, Judicial, and Exectutive.

Legislative: The House of Representatives and the Senate

Judicial: The nine Supreme Court Justices

Executive: The White House

Take Clinton for example. He was Impeached by the Legislative and Judicial Branches, but he was not kicked out of office (Two completely different things. I don't remember what they call it when they kick you out of office) And look at Nixon. He was Impeached, and he was going to be kicked out of office, but Resigned before the process was complete.

Sooooooo. Before you try to even talk about what you "know" (Bush is a horrible president. Do you want me to prove it?) Try to actually take the time to learn how our government is set up.....

Thank you, and have a nice day happy.gif

You never said opinions. And plus, opinions don't matter when facts are involved.

Opinions matter more than facts, if I'm correct... everyone who wants to vote gives their OPINION and the president is chosen by the people's decisions(opinions).

Don't be stupid. Opinions can stay forever if you want them to. You can't "force" someone to not have an opinion.

That's how Bush got voted not once but twice. If it were based off of facts, Gore and Kerry would have won easily with flying colors.

Nader

Both these presidents are just OK, nothing great about them IMO.
Clinton is looked down upon not because of the blowjob with monica, but the fact that he lied to us about it under oath. That's why he got impeached.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2005-07-21 at 17:27:22
you CANT find bush to be a good president......NO! i wont alow you to. bush started a needless war on people who would have killed themselfs out anyway. with all the suiside bombings and blam, the alcida will go away, cus they will all be dead. what we should have done was to just do one bomb run and be over. thats it. and eye for an eye. thats all

The presidential term limit is amendment 22, not in the bill of rights. And there are no loopholes.
