*runs from l)ark_13* I say Yay. If the crime is horrible I.E. killing someone in cold blood(not including self-defense) should get the death penalty and we should start killing people on death row sooner. They are there to die not to live longer than regular cellmates...

Seriously, make them slaves instead of putting them to death. It'll help everyone out. And if I see one more wonderful friend tell me that keeping them as slaves costs more money than putting them to death, I'm gonna write down their names and have it say next to it, "Don't debate with this guy on economic issues."

I'll feed them, so they can work. They will WORK for their food, and shelter. And all the money they make, will go to charity. They won't get a dime period, not even from other people. They're "Slaves" remember?

Making them slaves only is sufficient if the criminals are miserable there. Otherwise, it isn't enough.

Also, if they don't work, don't hesitate to kill them.

The Death Penalty is just wrong. Yes some people have created true :censored:ed up acts in their life, but does this justify the killing of someone? Pretty much the death penalty is a complete auximoron of it self. It kills people mainly who killed people so it kills them by punishing them. Besides, whats worse, having a relitively easy way out by dying or sitting in prison for the rest of your life doing absolutley nothing?

Well, the following, It costs way more to put someone to death than to feed them and the like for the rest of their life. The fact that there have been accidents in puttin people do death which includes needle clogging, which has caused unbareble pain to the person whos being executed. The fact that murder is illegal, and yet the govt. can get away with it.

Is it because it's expensive due to the current legal environment?

Is it ecause you don't believe that someone who brutally rapes, tortures, and kills several people shouldn't be killed and should instead be fed for the rest of their life?

Why do you care for direct answers? I'm just stating my opinion and a couple facts with it since you more or less were asking for them some.
