What is the battle system going to be like? Walk and kill, or do u have to use some strategy?

Wth look at first attack picture.  does that look fake or what?

The temple thingy behind a cliff?  wth

edit terrains ultra blocky if u looks clsoer or in game

the temple thing is not fake, you can put doodads as terrain

i think that the terrain looks fine, almost every extended terrain is gonna have some blocks, just learned to deal with it, or just look at it from a distance.

When im done with crescent dyne terrain, i will reblend most of the map to keep me busy...

If thers 1 thing i must add that i notice alot on SEN now... ther seem to be far more people who think your terrain isn't good enough, who say, "I can't terrain good, but I know good terrain." Your words should be banned from SEN for not having any validity with experence or experementing with terrain research yourself.

If you disagree, please msg me at WoodenFire@UsEast after US 4EST, thankyou.

Making maps 1 player is a very good thing.

Here goes "The List"

• Save Strings
• Save Locations
• Save Units
• Save Time
• Better Story
• Better Character Development
• Better... A lot of other stuff.

Basically, when you make a map One Player, you save a lot of junk that you can use to make your map that much better.

exactly true, just so much more options and also easier to do single player.

when hes going to distribute it, you know he can submit it to the dldb and people can dl from there, unless your just that dumb to try and find on bnet

r[s]t - If your complaining about the "fake" screenshots that woodenfire had made, then let me ask you. If your so good, why is it that you dont show us how to do it right then? Negative comments is not welcomed, especially from a spammer. You can either love it or leave.
BoyScout - Wow... that is a really dumb question. Forsaken could had not said it any better. Thanks. Mainly the reason why I made this map single player is so I could make the map more centered on one character. I've had been thinking about making it a two player map so more people can get into the action. Also, there will be extra slots for others to download the map and play it themselves. My ideas for this were that as followed:

- [NEED NAME, PLEASE GIVE IDEAS FOR NAMES] Wealthy born - One would start off as A strong, greedy, and arrogant character.

- [NEED NAME, PLEASE GIVE IDEAS FOR NAMES] Poorly born - The poorly born one would start off as a weak but yet non conceited person. Eventually, he will get stronger as the story unfolds.

I have planned to do this by making them start at two different locations on the map. Eventually as the story unfolds they will run into each other and become rivals for the rest of their lives.
Fwop_ - Thank you for helping me answer questions. And yes, Dundane is still in the works.
All NON SPAMMERS - Thanks for the positive feedback.

the only think i dont like in your terrain is the sense of height.  like its high in one spot and then level in anothe so it doesnt seem like a cliff or something but other than that they look good.  and i wouldnt waste your time on a save system because its 1 player and you can save it yourself.

Wow Forsaken. Thanks for doing SO much! The names acutally i think are really neat. It would give the game a different feeling rather then just ; Rusty Sword. Lol.
If you could also give me some names that are americanized too, that would be great. Because I want to compare the latin names to the english ones. Thanks.
Some names I like alot ; Croesus, Divitiae, Fortuno, & Munificus [Rich]
Exilis, & Mendicus [Poor]

You can find out many cool names that are Latin just by visiting the site here?.

As for Americanized names, I just use a thesaurus. I love a thesaurus because it expands your vocabulary and can turn a basic word into something that sounds much better.

This has really been annoying me because if I had made it a two player map, it would go around easier, but if I made it two player, the story wouldn't be fully in depth...

I say do single player.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by RedNara on 2005-10-12 at 00:24:21
dude 2 player sounds good but if its to much of a work go 1 player, but then again if you really can go up to 2 player and stuff i would go for 2 player.

But my only thing against 2 player is you cant really play with random person you have to like its like a have to play with a close friend or something random ppl usally leave if its 2 player.

But 2 player will be great if it does not affect how the game will end up i mean if you can make it better with 2 player go for it all the way and btw dont make it so you cant do a lot of stuff if there isnt 2 player make it so its possible to play it 1 player also.

And really good terrain good ass woodenfire i like it a lot

I say make this map 1 player, the story line just seems to be more of a one personer to me.

The twins idea sounds awsome, or maybe 3 brothers? I don't really like the idea that you can't share the RPG excitment with just 1 player...

But if you must use all 7 computers, and nuetrals like p12 and p11 in your rpg to make systems work correctly, then by all means, use 1 player!
