You obviously didnt if you insisted that nobody cared about 9/11.

do you ever think about anything before you type? or do you just close your eyes and hit random keys that somehow form words. this topic shows how many people care. there are about 50ish posts right now. and 1/2 of them are from the same people. yep LOTS of people caring. its almost overwhelming

SEN does NOT represent the whole United States Population (or the world). SEN is just made up of people that play starcraft. There are TONS of people who care about this that don't play starcraft. And also just because people don't post here doesn't mean they don't care. infact, most people on SEN visit other forums. Use your brain next time.

durk-a-dur, you're being so disrepectful. And all your statements are incredibly wrong generalizations.

And also, maybe not as many people from sen care about it as much. But what you're saying is that nobody in general cares about it which is wrong.

It's not like when you heard about the war in Iraq were we werent botherd so much. It changed the way we have security it gave us a secretary of homeland defence it impacted everyone. For you not to even care and just say ooo 1000+ people dies their is still billions of people around the world is really ignorant and you should think about what your saying.

Please people, if you have nothing nice to say about these events, do not say it at all.

I like how all these Canadians call Americans "ass****" but if you think about it, Canadians are so ignorant to Americans all the time, saying stuff like "Happy 9/11, who carez"

I was being sarcastic, it was a tragic event but this is just the anniversery, luckily nothing else happened.

some of you guys need to shut the hell up.

If this was in your country and we said "who cares" you would be pretty mad.

I am so frustrated right now at some of you assh***s who are not even caring. Don't post in the damned topic if you don't care. Keep your ignorance ELSEWHERE.

Durkadur, I really hate you. I hope you die of a slow, painful death. I am meaning that. I am really mad.

Add demaris to the last sentence, also.

I heard about 9/11 on the radio(I think I was like 10 :/)and I thought it was a joke so I just laughed it off. Then I got home and my mom was watching the news and she's says(Not exact words, but who cares), "The twin towers got owned by planes" and I'm all like... "Sh*t... Haxxors...." Then I saw people jumping off the buildings and my stomach churned... It was bad... I didn't remember 9/11 till just now. :\

When I said 'For America" I was trying to say that terrorism finally hit American soil, but yes America and her allies and even non-allies have been hit by many terrorist attacks before 9/11

Plus I was trying to quote star wars and it didn't really work disgust.gif

He's banned from this forum don't worry.

Anyways, yeah. This year I skipped the regular news post I made on this. Mostly because last year I was one of the only people to actually bother to make a news post as such as that (even though I'm canadian!). This year you'll notice tha basically no websites did anything at all.

Good. Now that we don't have to deal with idiocy, lets start some discussion!

My personal belief is that one of a few things allowed 9/11 to happen:
A. Incredible stupididty on the President's part.
B. Ignorning the threat as a way to ensure 9/11.
C. Active part in planning 9/11.

There are a few reasons I believe this. I don't think this is a crazed conspiracy theory or a insult to America.
1. There were several FBI documents and other evidence of the upcoming attack, Bush ignored them.
2. Bush actively prevented the investigation of the bin Laden family.
3. Bush allowed Saudis to leave the country when others were not permitted to leave and Saudi Arabia's role in terrorism to go unnoticed after 9/11.
4. Bush has close ties with the Saudi Arabian govenrment, as does bin Laden.
5. Bush could profit by exploiting crisis for political gain: He could invade Iraq, get oil, settle a family vendetta, and look like a hero to boot. The evidence to go after Iraq was brutally flawed, but Bush didn't listen, or perhaps turned a blind eye,
6. Bush and the Saudia Arabian royal family have clse ties, this same family includes bin Laden and several known terrorism supporters.
7. Bush failed to listen to the Clinton administration's warning that Al-Qaeda was a top threat.

Not even the news had hardly anything about 9/11, it was all about the hurricane and related events. I'm in Texas, so I guess that's why, since we are so close to the hurricane area, but I'm sure New York did though.

Oklahoma bombing was a terrorist attack. Just about any attack that is meant to scare is a terrorist attack. I think you meant to say a terrorist attack on such a grand scale. But still, it does not justfiy not trying to destroy it prior to 9/11.

That very sentence states that Clinton had a chance to do something about it and didnt. Period.

Why does everyone put EVERY SINGLE BLAMMING THING as Bush's fault? I heard someone say it was Bush's fault that the hurricaine OCCURED!

The people who say it's Bush's fault are idiots. It wasn't really even his fault for the lack of relief efforts. It was the director of FEMA who resigned the other day and i think no one really even looked at my topic. Anyways, it was his fault for lack of relief efforts.

Also, incase you didn't know Clinton was impeached. Who knows maybe he was going to do something or maybe he wasn't going to do anything. At least he warned Bush. Which Bush ended up not doing anything.

In addition, their are thousands of threats a year. They have to sort out which ones are hoaxes and which ones are real.

Think this has to do with Bush? I mean when he got into office war, bombings, air plane crashes, nuclear threat (north korea), economy down, 4 hurricanes (or something like that), ... what might happen next? uh-oh maybe the global warming ticking time bomb forum might be true... or something like that.... hopefully no more bad things happen... or do you think some higher entity is trying to tell us something...? and most interesting... I didn't know that al-queda existed before 9/11... he should definitely have done something about it...
