I'm an atheist. I don't not believe in God, I believe that there is not a God. Call it semantics, but I think that it makes all the difference. I believe this because I see no reason for God to exist; physical laws explain the creation of the universe, and I think miracles are rather dubious. If a man approached you and said "I just saw a mushroom flying through the sky!" you would think he's on drugs or crazy. Why, then, when someone says "I just saw Jesus flying through the sky!" is it a bona fide miracle?

Arbitrary: Yes, this is correct. Islamic beliefs are that no man has the right to judge a person fairly, as no man knows everything, but but islamic beliefs are that a powerful being called Allah (God), who is omnipotent and knows all, exists and judges men and sends them to hell or heaven.

DeadlyInnocence: We do not think of Allah/God as a person, so it is not a monarchy, but in your eyes, it may be. So you could also technically think of Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, and Zoroastrianism as absolute monarchies if you think of Islam that way.

The Qu'ran specifically states power should be to the people, yet for some reason, many Arab followers of Islam cling to Arabic history in that they keep single-rulers or fake-democracies, as in Iran and previously Iraq.

No. I believe that's wrong. I believe that to go to heaven, you are saved by faith alone. That is because you can be forgiven for EVERY sin EXCEPT for hate of God.

Yes, I do understand the English writing system. You forget to make the letter 'g' in your first sentence there capitalized, additionally, you failed to include a verb in the second sentence. Both sentences don't have the 'e' in English capitalized.

No, you haven't offended me. We believe God (the same God as yours) holds the power to judge everyone, we believe people have the power to do what they want. In our religion, our Prophet told us that God would judge people on how they contribute to humanity, not whether they believe or not. An athiest scientists who disbelieves in God due to the fact there is no proof of God, for example, will go to Heaven if he or she doesen't do anything bad or contributes to humanity. A Muslim who murders a pagan non-believer will go to hell because he, well, anti-contributed to humanity.

We also don't believe in repenting major sins, for example, Hitler could never be forgiven for his part in murdering millions of people and causing a massive war.

There's a huge conspiracy theory that the american government is being controlled by the old age believers of the christianity. In other words, some people think the U.S. is trying to convert every1 to christians... and if u refuse we kill you
(ya know, like chronicles of ridwang-gotta love that movie! ). People think this all similar to manifest destiny, the crusades, all that smack. Because all throuygh out america's NON-PROCLAIMED history America has been thought to be trying to convert half of the world(philipines, samoa, puerto rico, cuba, japan, etc.). Is it true? Personally I wouldn't put it behind anything, i'm open to the possibility.

But anyway, that's what the whole idea is with the whole taliban thing(since they tell us americans lies). 1988 when U.S. first goes into Iraq, we try to make them become a part of us through a small diplomatic secrecial meeting(it has a name, I forgot I'll try2 post it in a edit) Iraqee's(mispelled that) raise arms to protect their country from this whole ugly christianity invasion. Thus the war we had in the 1980's. Taliban and a few of the others, are people willing to give their lives to protect their rights, their lives, their religon, their god, and their way of life. That's the truth of the original war in iraq, however as far as we know our intent this time is... justice for all people? Oil? Love and peace? Middle eastern style fried chicken? WHO KNOWS! That's the thing... who the **** knows?!?

Anyway, I just want to point out, that the muslim religon has little itself to do with the suicide bombers and "terrorists" or whatever they call them. Some people who SUPPORT the muslim religon, arn't as... peaceful as others. So they raise their hands in name of... their religon - of god! What better reason?! That is what i wanted to point out, and to rant a lil bit about america conspiracy theories that are pretty well-known.

Besides, let's also remmember there have been Christian, Jewish and even Hindu terrorists. These terrorists called themselves followers of a religion, yet disregarded the values of the religions totally and entirely.

And, in the U.S. Air Force, it is very hard to advance unless you are an evangelist protestant christian.

Negative, any one one who is perfectly healthy can be in the air force. you just have to be pretty smart and pass their pyshical and mental tests. Sadly it is usually white men....
