This terrain is blended too well, and it looks very boring sad.gif

It's like StarCraft's isom terrain. And from what I remember, the map was very cramped. A lot of blends in it =\

Well, I don't see how criticism helped me on this thread... you all obviously don't know the extent of the world map.

Wooden, please understand what you are saying. You must have a problem if you can't comprehend criticism and transform your work into something better using that criticism.

Criticism is not "OH WOW THAT'S GREAT LOL! I'M A SUCKUP! I LUV UR TERRAIN LOL!"

You will all just have to wait to see how wrong all of you are when Crescent Dyne is released.

Now why would we be wrong when we're giving you straight-up facts about your terrain? Also, opinions can't be wrong.

Opinion: I think the terrain is boring.
Telling people "but it's not boring" is not the answer. You can't judge your own map.

Fact: The terrain is cramped.
Going against this is just stupid. It's a fact. End of story.

Because obviously I am a noob terrain maker.

If you insist, then you are.

Face it, extended terrain really doesn't offer much possibility, this is as special as it gets.

There are more possibilities than "extended ramps" and "terrain blending".

Why is it that when Wooden gets an ounce of criticism, his lackies come along and start dishing out atatcks? The terrain posted here is NOT the best that be done. I've seen wooden merging the temple doods into cliff walls and stuff, and I have done stuff such as that myself. Just random shots of open terrain with maybe a few level blends doesn't qualify as anything special.

I mean, I like what Wooden does with ramps and stuff, but most of that stuff isn't even IN these screenshots. Suck it up, you are not always right.

Wooden is just defending his title as 'Terrain God.' That's all this is. wink.gif I hope your right that the terrain is going to blow us away, otherwise, I'd hurt you.
