well people don't need to be a hardcore nintendo fan to buy the wii and it is most likely true that people that like nintendo will buy it.
I won't buy it just because i like nintendo. the features, and certain games(mainly super smash brothers and some other games) are coming out for it too.
basically, whoever is a game fanatic will buy any new game system that comes out that attracts them.

YAY FOR THE WII! (except that name is bugging me why couldnt they just name it "revolution) now all the fat gamers can lose weight.

Revolution was the codename.

You should get SSBB for the Wii.
The Smash Bros. Series is my favorite style of fighting.

The WII is a tad outdated for its time. Still, its worth 200 euros or whatever i guess. Whats so special about it anyway? All my friend says thats cool about it is you "get to swing around a little sword when playing." Hell i rather have better graphics and longer gameplay (xbox 360) then to swing around a sword.

Gameplay length is not determined by processing power. And the graphics are still good, just not OMG GEARS OF WAR awesome.

@supapika-We know what the wii has. What was the point of posting that?

Um superpika there was no need for pointing that out. And also on the nintendo wii there is no 1 button and 2 button.

Also to be off topic but not jumping off to conclusions but posting really big unnessecary posts like that super pika is considered spam.

The first game I'm getting for the Wii is the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Then in 2007, I'll get Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Way later, I'll get Pokemon Battle Revolution.

The only time I'd suggest anyone to jump conclusions is if you were the one jumping and the conclusion was at the bottom of a cliff.

How could it not own the gamecube?
I mean look at it!
It looks so cool and the virtual reality and online-play will kick ass together
the backwards compatible games will also kcik ass and the ds connection?
Also its not all about virtual reality
If you get tired then you can go back to the normal video game experience, pushing buttons
The PS3 sucks, its just a faster and better looking PS2.

Btw, does anyone know in how many colors the Wii is coming in?

I think that infos pretty useful. It'll stop a kid from having to sell his GC games and controllers...

If my cube breaks down, if it EVER breaks down, then I'll be happy to know I won't have to go on ebay a few years from now to get a cube.

Finally 3 people who agreeded with me. Rather then flaming I'll respond to the other question above. For the colors I remember there was an article on www.nintendo.com but I can't seem to find it.

But some colors I am aware that is there is white,black,green,redish pink and some other one.
