History class. If you reviewed WWII, you'll see that there were many strategies on how to use the nuclear bomb, but we decided on hitting cities that were rather minor to show that we will attack civilians.

I'm not that worried about North Korea, as others said, their nukes would probably malfunction, and the country will most likely collapse before they can develop the technology to the point where it becomes a serious threat.

Why is everyone freaking out anyways? The USA has nukes too and other countries arent concerned.

Tomahawks roughly carry about 200kt firepower, much smaller than the T-2 missile. The artillery of U.S. in war time can carry 1kt nuclear laden shots. It is much more powerful than the failed nuclear explosion the NK has, but they still have alot of conventional weapons.

SK wouldn't be attacked, because if NK decided to attack SK, the entire world would attack NK.

Yikes just on the news I watched a segment of the north korea conflict and north korea says

"If America keeps pressuring north korea on nuclear weapons they threaten to declare war on the U.S"

If they did wage war (which is probably bull, and they just said it to act tough), I doubt they would use the nuclear bomb to signal it, I'm sure absolutley nothing will happen if they did declare war. Unless our government is stupid enough to actually invade North Korea, all it will result in is an even icier relationship between the two nations (and probably a few others.) If you look at North Korea's past, you'll see that they blow a whole lot of steam at America and others.

Countries like Japan and South Korea would. They are perfectly inside the conventional weapons range, and you cant just stop a conventional weapon from detonating. They dont even show up on the radars.
If U.S. decided to wage a war on N.K. without any reason, U.S. would be considered a outlaw nation; reputation would fail; and you guys would have to pay more taxes not to mention rights being taken away. These things all effect all the people and you never stop to think about it.
( You guys should note that Sanctions are considered aggressive actions; because if the U.S. decided to make a country very unstable; they could. )

And. They don't have to launch Nuclear weapons in N.K! Don't you know! They can sneak a submarine out to launch a conventional missile armed with nuclear weapons; clearly people can't escape that. They succeeded in sneaking out Heroines too; why not submarines and nukes?

Im sure South Korea and Japan can easily destroy North Korea. But South Korea right now is trying to help North Korea. Also they've been trying to make a treaty and been trying to make Korea one again.

The South Korean government is retarded. If you notice; it would cause the economy to destabilize at first. ( 40,000,000 people without a job. Yeah such a good idea. 40,000,000 people less than 400 dollar earn. That would cause our 24,000$ average earn to about 2000$. ) Thats one thing the South Korean government is retarded about.

It isnt a oxymoron. Its the thing that happened to Germany when they joined together. Even then; the communist side germany had much less people and decent earnings. The west germany held a very powerful economics much better compared to South Korea. If today; SK and NK became one Korea; I would just leave the country and name it a "illegitimate child country". Even though I'am a Korean; I feel no good with the current government we have. Roh-Moo-Hyun is more insane than Kim Jong Il.

I don't really see japan going to war again. Right now they seem to be an economic country recovering to its standard power. But who knows if they do join in the war there yen value goes up.

My history teacher told me that the people of North Korea are starving and the Chinease have to send in rescue food operations. She also told me the Chinease are embarrassed about it and that the North Korean government continues to make nuclear weapons and ignores the people's welfare.

I dont think the world wants the U.S. to use that nuclear weapon. Not only it will kill NK troops, but it will kill SK civilians also. Due to winds carrying down nuclear dusts and people caught in diseases and cancer due to poison and radiation.
