Ya thats true, but it has to start somewhere, maybe in 200 years it will be noticed because it could be starting right now.

Futurologists see humans as small creatures with a weak body, huge head (and huge brain within) and with one highly developed finger on one arm.

Charming, isn't it?

So your saying fat people will be small? Quierd.

But I think that if frogs would grow extra legs from maturing defects then maybe humans would grow second stomachs after fat people have suffered extreme defects then humans then adapt to it and the 2nd stomach becomes functional.

I doubt frogs would grow extra legs, unless from mutation. But why would they even need another leg? Also its unlikely that humans would grow a second stomache since the stomache is elastic.

Let's see. I believe that in 200 years, we'll have colonized the moon and Mars, and our understanding of the universe will have grown by an incredible amount. Perhaps we'll even have mining expeditions to the asteroid belt. I mean, we have ion engines that are currently capable of achieving ten times the speed of conventional combustion engines. In the past hundred years alone, we've gone from developing aircraft to landing on the moon to organizing commercial space flight. The invention of the microchip has accelerated research exponentially. I mean, electricity, plumbing, and even air conditioning are standardized in the American home now. The standard of living has risen from what we would consider poverty now to relatively lavish. Free and public education, small unemployment rates, financial aid, amazing health advances... must I go on? Indeed, most of the world has lost any real reason to wage war (except different philosophies, and those are being broken down as well). Most people don't want war, and that's a good thing. In 200 years, I believe we'll see a unified humanity. I just wonder if humanity will become too complacent for its own good though...

In the next 50 years, I bet the environment will be vastly cleaned up.

An interesting idea I thought of, that the world could be over in 200 years with a super volcano.. the one in Yellowstone.. apparently it's overdue, and if it blows up, I think life on the Earth is gone.. ;\
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-10-28 at 19:39:50
I remember watching this on NOVA one time, where it said that the Yellowstone National Park is only part of the major volcanoe, they showed a heat camera positioned above where it showed a normal volcanoe next to it, almost 100 times the size of a regular volcanoe. And it is about 35 to 40% active. Something about 80%Nitrogen or something and 20%oxygen, and they are too low for it to react.

We gonna die in 6 years
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-10-29 at 08:18:18
Why do you think we are gonna die in six years knx? I highly doubt anything catastrophic enough to kill everyone is going to happen that fast.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Voyager7456(MM) on 2006-10-29 at 08:22:28
A worldwide nuclear war would be pretty catastrophic, and would take far less than 6 years to kill most of us.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-10-29 at 08:27:16
Yes your right, but like I said before that is not very likely to happen, the people that have nukes are responsible enough not to attack with nukes, that is their last ditch effort to win the war. One of the main part of war is to kill just the soldiers fighting against you, not innocent civilians, nukes are the acception.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Knx. on 2006-10-29 at 08:29:44
Mediums says that something really big will happen in 2012...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Voyager7456(MM) on 2006-10-29 at 08:29:46
The Pentagon was considering using tactical nuke strikes against Iran a little while ago. You could have a situation similar to that and have it escalate out of control fast...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)7-7 on 2006-10-29 at 08:34:34
Thats true Voyager, The only problem is that Iran doesn't have the force power to actually launch a big attack back at us, the only way for this to happen would be for Iran's allies to get in.

Knx: do they say what will cause it?

Frogs do grow extra legs (and its a good thing I learned this in science) in the following ways...

1. A natural parasite grows inside a tadpole that alters its DNA so it can grow extra legs on its throat, legs themselves or head so the frogs can be eaten by a large bird where the parasite lives next.

2.Enviroment. If the surrounding area of a growing tadpole or frog becomes poisonus or dirty the frog will "mutate" another or more legs.

3. The mystery paradox. Some frogs grow extra legs but scientists are unaware of this cause.

Now when I said humans might grow a second stomach is because how most obease and fat people eat so much food that the body cannot digest it and so my theory is that over time say 200 years a second stomach organ might develop because the original cannot handle all the food intake the host is building thus changing its natural enviroment and because of the rate of fat people going up especially america and then life will proboly change and when there is no more available oil to support our transportation of everyday life then in that same 200 years no oil means no movement for heavy people and it will spread like the plague and the end of what we know today!!!!!

So picture humans with an extra organ because there has been case where babys have been born with 2 left feet.

For sure we will change, when we think about aliens we think about small green thing, whatever, something diferent from us. We might become different like that...

Well, 200 years is not enough, but in a long time, we will change a lot, and if you look a pic of nowadays you will think we are weird, just like if we see "monkey" pics...

ADDITION:
idk in 200 years, but i hope Doodan die soon

200 years from now is a very long time. The world will change multiple times.

It's impossible to say for sure, but I do know it'll have something to do with robots becoming more alive than humans. Sounds crazy now, but so were airplanes 200 years ago.

If we evolve, it'll be minor changes. Something along the lines of, slightly paler skin, and softer fingertips. Something like that. Not 2 whole stomachs. 200,000 years, maybe. 200? no.

In 200 years, the entire human race would be combined into one racial color.

Impossible. Skin color and minor physical differences occur because of their climate and proximity to the equator (darker skin the closer you are to the equator). If somehow a great ethnic blending occured, any group of humans stuck in one part of the planet for a couple of generations would evolve unique traits again, and that's beyond likely because at least 95% of the population is too poor to travel far from their birthplace.

Funny in South Park, but never to be reality.

200 years from now... Who the hell knows what horrific things are going to happen.

Well one thing will be for sure, the internet as well as techology probably has corrupted everyone by then.

And pretty much everything in our houses will be gone since we wont need em; TVs, books, telephones, paperwork, radio, mp3 players, computers, and even laptops. It will all be replaced by some weird "super handheld PC" thing which can do all of the above.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Azu on 2006-11-02 at 14:50:06
How do you know it will be handheld? Maybe it'll be in our BRAINS blink.gif

They are building houses lots faster than they ever used too. They are making thses blocks of them in factories while shipping them to the building location then piecing them together likie a puzzle. They take less than a month to put together and the waste made from them fit into two trash bags, this is over a study that was held on 5 building made. Took less than two trashbags each and around 3 weeks to build a two story house.
