That's true.
Why would someone get in a plane and crash himself into a building? That's sick.
Religion ---> that's what makes them do that. Stupid Muslism

About all the anti-Muslim feelings....

Let me start off by saying that its only those religous zealots that actually think using God as their excuse (by the way the Muslims pray to the same god Christians do, just under a diffrent name)

But, if you go back to the past, you have to remember the Christians did this too, they had a strangehold on Europe and forced the religon to many people, killing those who refused to go switch to Catholism.

On a less serious note, all the Muslim zealots and all the Christian/Catholic/ *include all other brances here* zealots should duke it out, and the winners nuked *hates all those who use their religon as an excuse for bad or stupid things*

One japanese plane got shot down...

Actually I believe 3 did or some retarded number like that.

Just out of curiosity, was Bin Laden ever proven to have initilized the terrorist attack?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2004-09-22 at 19:32:44
Nope. Citizens needed someone to blame, so they directed everything toward the "#1" terrorist over Europe... Big proofs.

A few Jap Airplanes were shot down. Have you been watching the History Channel? When they were cerebraling the day where the Japs came to Haweii then kicked our asses. On the History Channel. They were able to talk to the ones who survived that day, Some of them said they shot 1 or 2 Jap Airplanes.

I agree. Pearl Harbor soon lead to the U.S. joining in on the war, and so far 9/11 has just lead into serious conflicts with some countries in the Middle East. It could lead to a war, though.

9/11 was horrible, we all agree, but it might of been neccessary. We cut crime, we became closer, but we also started a war because of it. It just depends what your view on this subject is. I think that it was stupid, and pointless. Pearl Harbor was also a tragedy, but if that didn't happen the outcome of the war might have been different. We will never know i guess blink.gif

General Discussion, not necessarily debate, about the WTC tragedy.

I think there is too much hype about it. Yes, I am sad, don't get me wrong, but I want to ground zero last spring and it has turned into a :censored:ing tourist attraction...

Reply:

I am sad, most people do not do anything about it, the third anniversary has passed, and I couldn't notice anyone doing anything about it, so I wrote a little true story for all Americans.

Story:

IT

9/11/2001
I was in my room when IT happened. I was playing computer when IT happened. I knew I wasn't supposed to, but I played anyways. I forget why I played, but that doesn't matter much, IT still happened.

My mom burst open the door to my room. I could tell something was wrong, she never did that. Her face was of panic, I expected her to tell me the house was on fire. I also thought I was dead meat for playing the computer, but then I noticed she wasn't looking at the monitor, and her eyes were somewhat unfocused looking through and beyond me, through all existence for something that doesn't exist.

IT represents many things, IT represents the American people, IT represents death and tragedy, IT represents bondage, IT represents unfortunate people, blinded by revenge for being outside us, IT represents skill of leaders, IT represents heroism and stupidity, IT represents how dirty many people are. IT represents how quickly we forget, IT represents how fast we return to our criticism; some could say IT represents how most of us aren't patriotic, but most would say IT represents America.

I don't remember what I was wearing, but I do remember seeing my mom truely didn't see our actions. I didn't know what the World Trade Center was. I didnt know the big deal that an airplane crashed into a building. I didn't know what terrorism was. I didnt know so many would die.

I was now in my parent's room, watching the television. I observered this was a giant deal, but I still didn't see what made IT a deal. My mom called the school to see if it was closed, but to our surprise, it was not. When I got to school, most people knew about IT, but none talked about IT. There was no T.V. in the classroom, there was no announcement. Academics were normal, Socials were all but present.

9/11/2002
Today is the anniversary of IT. There has been news of IT for three weeks straight. IT is almost the only thing on the news. To be honest, I was annoyed, how can IT be NEWS if IT isnt NEW? They were going to show footage of the first plane crashing, I did look foward to that however. Unfortunately, I missed the show due to "nature's calling." I did see many other thing though, documentaries, aftermath, amazing resuces, and etc... Each of these made me fall into different emotions, some of which there is no spoken name, but most know of them.

I sang patriotic songs, raised some flags, and praised God. All throughout the year, people turned to God for their needs. They made candlelight vigils for the dead as well. My school had awards for whoever dressed the most patriotic. What Satan had used for evil, destruction, and fear, God had turned to good many times over.

9/11/2003
The second anniversary is now here. This time, the news had almost nothing about IT. People had forgotten, and I was dissappointed.

9/11/2004
Now the third anniversary is passing. There is even less coverage about IT than last year. The school did nothing, the news did even less. I thought I too would do nothing. I thought America was forgetting, and I feared would forget as well. Then I noticed a forum about it, I did something. I remember.

Red, so many dead,
White, the fires so bright,
Blue, forget never,
Jesus, our Savior.

I am (name censored for protection). IT is what happened on September eleventh.

Maybe those innocent people didn't deserve to die... but the nation as it's entirety deserved something such as to happen.

Edit: Actually, I take that back... who doesn't deserve to die?
