Smeone mentioned about cheerleaders earlier. I have also noticed that they'er skirts are way shorter than teh dress code. No one pays attaention to the dress code at my school, but I do find it pathetic that girls try to make petitions to let them wear shorts shorter than 6 inches. The dress code is just so there is some limit as to what you wear, so if someone walked around naked or soemthing, they can be kicked out for the day for breaking an actual rule.

Dress code may be good for some schools *cough cough, cathlics, couch*, oh excuse me =)
But I think that dress code in most schools is a very bad idea. Some kids express themselves by what they wear. Plus, it makes it MUCH harder to tell kids apart if like say, one pulls the fire alarm then runs into a crowd of kids (man, thats not a bad idea about getting away with stuff
).
So, in conclusion. Whom ever though about dress code should be poked in the eye with a hot metal spike by a midget (no offence to any midgets out there).
