Will you be making StarCraft II?
We have not announced any current plans for StarCraft II. We are all very close to the worlds and characters we created in the original game and the expansion set and while we do intend to revisit that universe, we have no plans to do so at this time.

No, excuse me for this spam but...

No.
[/center]W00t. I am a fan of Trigger Happy Defense. I am glad I can re-dl it. I lost all of my old maps.
comment for Kill Me. You know in the beginning? You choose which you kill Hapless right? I keeps centering the screen on the beacon, and that's really annoying because the mouse is centered there too....
Don't play it in single player. It's not really meant for that, anyway. That problem goes away in a bnet or LAN game. If you dont want to play it with other players, just make an empty LAN game (bottom option) and do it that way.
same question to Chu (IN Crystal Cannon Defense forum) - so don't play it in p1 only?
Yea, it will just get you in A LOT of trouble.. especially in eXile mode
I really don't get how you are supposed to play Fire fighters.
Loved Trigger Happy Defense! so cool. BFG Owns
Hey Tux, when i dled your minesweeper map it was 1.2... what happened to 1.3???
Is the map you gave them at Starcraft.org the 1.3 one??? You holding out on us tuxedo?
meh, i lost at the dam part in Firefighters because the damn firetruck was at the other end of the map.
Yeah my older maps have little glitches and mislabels like that, Kirbycode. That is the newest version, so don't worry.
Y'know Tux....If you are really making A&O as a Saga, 10+ maps, you might wanna add it onto Campaign Creation's roster. They have spots there for expert mapmakers like you, and would probably be happy to add a new large-scale campaign. Just a suggestion.
I might, but I don't especially like campaign creations from when I was last there (a few years back). I plan to make A&O well known when I finally release it, so don't worry about publicity.
I'm way off in the thread here...haven't read any posts.
I only saw the maps and saw to my dismay...
No Uber bound?!How could we forget the bound the famous Tuxedo-Templar made!
(Haha, I HAD to bring it up
)
Um, I hope that's a joke because I didn't make any bound maps. None that I've released, anyway.

Über Bound was created by HonorTemplar of the defunct map making guild-channel &Z in USWest.

Hehehe, old days back in &Z were awesome. Lots of kickass action. Untill newbies overran it all map makers died out =/ Wumbate, DemonicDragon, IceRain, alot more were in channel with myself of course
;
Tuxedo, you need release good rpg sheese =/
Am. Though it's taking forever to get the finishing touches.
I wanna see a version or Cannonballs with randomized terrain
That would be uber godliness
I was about to make that, but then I released only a handful of people ever played the map, so I got discouraged.

Heh, when that happened I guess that I was on europe trying to learn how to make advanced maps and bugging advanced map makers to show me their tricks
I remember bugging someone (I think that he was xxxfanta) for 3 days the full afternoon just to learn some weird trick like disabling beacons or something like that lol
Wow A&O has been delayed and never came out, Tuxedo it didn't come out yet... and it passed 2004
Well Tux i would just like to say how much i admire your map making skills, and i think that you have a natural talent for making very good maps. Every map that i have played of yours has been amazing
My favorite one that i have played of your maps would be the Movie map Kill Me! that is really funny, and nice job on creating that one must have taken you a long time to make. Just to tell you, please dont stop making maps! Good Job keep up the good work
Hmm...Well I've played/seen a lot of your maps, but one that is really vivid in my memory will have to be Kill Me! It was absolutely hilarious! Honestly, I laughed so hard I could barely breathe (is that another reason why you called it Kill Me?)!
Comedy. Pure comedy at it's best. The comedy one would expect from you. Some of the skits are rather cliched, but it's still hilarious. It would remind the viewer of those old cartoon shows...
Great Sound! Just like from the shows that I used to watch. It basically sets the mood for the player. Cheerful and giddy.
The only flaw I see is that some people will, at first, not get the "cliff" parts, such as myself. I don't see a way on how to fix it, but I guess you can use high dirt terrain and make a walkway.
Replay value? Hah! It's like one of those cartoons that you want the network to just keep re-running. You can kill Mr.Hapless in a different way and choose whether or not you want the poor guy to live! You can also show this to your friends and "accidentally" watch it in the process.
Overall this is great! It's humorous, has good music and a few reasons to tell your mom you want a few more minutes at the computer. Ok, so there's one little cliff, big deal! That doesn't remove the value of this...sacred piece of art. Oh, and, have you ever considered being a script writer for a cartoon? Just consider it, you'll do a great job!
Comedy: 10/10 - In awe...
Sound: 10/10 - In awe...(more)
Replay Value: 7/10 - You will want to watch this again some time!
Overall: 8/10 - In even more awe...It's great!
When is A&O coming out? It says fall 2004 but it's 2005 now...
Let's see here...Ah! I remember gassers. It was the little game where you cast devouring swarm on the defilers of other players. A game of both reflexes and intellect. Reflexes for mouse clicking and intellect to know where and when to strike and run. Ah, yes...I personally despised it. However, don't take it into heart, I only hated it because I could never win >.<.
There's not much I can really say about the terrain. It's pretty basic for a small arena game.
Triggers are plain and simple, in my eyes. Simple because it's really just some switches/counters to keep track of HP loss. It's also simple because it's just last man standing, so you didn't need to add the complicated kill score of devouring swarm locations.
The game was rather laggy with all the players freaking massing d-swarms just to get one player! Still, it was smooth and fun. You won't really get a lot of "OMG LOL!" laughs, but you will get a few when everyone fights each other at the same time.
Why would someone not replay this game? Heck, it's the same as those paintball and sniper games. You want to beat the stuffing out of everyone and claim your the best! Or...you could just play it for the fun of it.
Overall, it's a cool miniature game. Basic terrain, simple triggers, fun, but laggy gameplay, common replay value.
Terrain : 6.5/10 - Basic
Triggers : 7.5/10 - Simple, but used effectively
Gameplay: 4.5/10 - Fun, but overwhelming
Replay Value: 4/10 - As much fun as snipers and paintball, only more unique.
Overall: 6/10 - Nice game to play when there's nothing to do.
