Ranks are useful because they reward people for their work. It helps motivate people, and it gives a clan structure.

People will get bored and annoyed when they make 20 maps and still same rank. That's why I think ranks is a good thing.

I know i havn't been on b-net much, but i have been mapping, now i cant do either. I just recently installed a 300gb harddrive for my computer and have been having problems. My motherboard couldn't support 300gb seeing it as only ~128gb, so i had to update my XP to SP2, which im guessing is what caused my computer to go funky. Right now i cant really do anything, everything is choppy and load times are crazy long. I will be formatting soon and that should fix it. Well, i'll tty guy laters :/.

Update your BIOS.
Reformat your Harddrive(s).
Install Windows XP SP 2
Install hard drive drivers
Install graphic drivers
Install MISC drivers
If all else fails. Contact MAXTOR.

Another thing, make sure your wiring is compatable with the hard drive. I had the same problem when installing a slave drive.
